I hope that it's similar to how Daggerfall worked; where you can go to a part of space under someone else's control and borrow money there, while never coming back to that part of space. I'd assume they would send bounty hunters after you/etc; tho in Daggerfall you could borrow money from another province and never return there and thereby keep said money permanently.

They've explained how this works

If you select the "dream home" trait, you start with the mortgage from the galactic bank along with a house.

I would expect that the other purchase housing will probably be just a straight cash exchange, but you never know.

There is a separate trait that has you wanted from special bounty hunters at the start in exchange for...something. I don't remember what. It's a buff or something I think. People have already questioned how these special bounty hunters will work since the way they were presented makes it seem like you could just farm them for ships and gear right from the start.

I don't get why some people were saying this intro is noticably better than Skyrim or Fallout 4 tbqh

I mean, I never thought Skyrim or Fallout 4 were awful but this feels like the same shit so far. Just kind of like walking forward while people talk.

And yeah, this is definitely a basketball gamer with how he spends 2 minutes shooting the artifcat at the start instead of just walking over and hitting the activate button.
