Angels? I guess he's just going to ignore that angels would be alien, lovecraftian motherfuckers if they're real. Love how those are the only possibilities. God's flying slave-race or secret technology. Incredible logic.

Fundies gonna fund.

Though angels can be spoopy Lovecraft...

What is the current theory with you guys around why the ayys/interdimensional demons/UFO operators care so much about the nuclear arsenals? It seems to me that the common denominator surrounding UFO incursions and sightings, for the most part, are related to the American and Russian nuclear arsenals.

Quantum entanglement probably means we're nuking the aliens without realizing it and they're coming over here to figure out what the fuck we're doing

An Alcubierre Drive is not Reactionless in the traditional sense, as it does not violate the conservation of momentum and energy, but instead manipulates Spacetime itself to achieve apparent faster than light motion.

The Objects are likely emitting significant Radiation, which is then being Red Shifted by the generated field.

If the Object was emitting Radar Signals while moving towards you, the light would then Blue Shift, and depending on the Frequency Range, you as an outside observer would detect it as flashing lights.

This is likely why people often report the Objects as blinking when observed. It's likely Backscatter that has been Blue Shifted into the visible range, bouncing off the Radar after its returned to the Object.
Please re-explain in simpler terms for retard (me). What does it mean to manipulate spacetime to travel faster than lightspeed? How would that work?

Grusch's "Sol Foundation" launched last week:

...Sol Foundation is assembling teams of world-class academics and government experts – including former Inspector General of the Intelligence Community (IC IG) I. Charles McCullough III serving as legal counsel – to conduct research and provide policy expertise around UAP, as well as help set the agenda for the wider study of UAP.

I don't think it attracted much attention. The pages aren't archived yet.

Sol is holding its first annual conference at Stanford University on November 17-19, 2023. Covering everything from the scientific study of UAP data to philosophical questions raised by it to related global security issues, the meeting brings together Avi Loeb, Charles McCullough, Cristopher Mellon, Garry Nolan, Jacques Vallée, and other leading academic and government voices on UAP.

Garry Nolan

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE BOARD

Dr. Nolan is the Rachford and Carlota A. Harris Professor in the Department of Pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine.

Peter Skafish

DIRECTOR OF RESEARCH

Dr. Skafish is a sociocultural anthropologist who has held faculty and research positions in France, Canada, Germany, and the United States.

404 page in German:

As a reminder, he mentioned this in June:
His whistleblower case will take months to conclude. In the meantime, he says he’s starting a scientific foundation, and he’s willing to speak to anyone in Washington who has the clearance, and the desire, to hear the classified information he could not share with NewsNation.

I can actually explain this one in fairly simple terms. Ever dick around with soap-powered boats? You take a little foam boat, and a drop of soap alters the surface tension of the water, moving the boat. Same idea but a lot more complicated.

A virtual mass in the direction you want to travel created by a contraction in spacetime pulling you, while an opposing expansion of space simultaneously pushes. Creates a closed bubble of moving space, a ripple you can basically surf. Now is such a thing doable? No clue. But the math of alcubierre drives check out.

I'm not capable of understanding anything more complex than Madeleine L'Engel said, that spacetime can be pinched and folded. ("Tessering.")

So it's as if I draw a black dot at the top of a piece of paper and a black dot at the bottom of the paper. By folding the paper together, the distance that originally existed between the dots is eliminated.

I have no idea if that's the same as what you described or even similar to it.

Nah, that's a wormhole. Here's a simple video explaining the concept of the effect responsible for the soap-powered boats I mentioned earlier.
Instead of surface tension on a 2d plane (ie water and soap), it would be space itself in a 3+1d field getting manipulated. You would need some exotic stuff that somehow changes mass/density in the presence of electricity. Here's a video on the warp drive effect itself

Considering the only people testing nukes in modern times is North Korea (and potentially Iran), you'd think that area off the coast of the Korean peninsula would be a hotbed for UAP incursions. We have at least a squadron of vessels over there at all times too; would easily cause a situation like TICTAC/GIMBAL/GOFAST. Of course, this could already be the case, and its Le Classified thanks to our friendly neighborhood glowies.

Since this thread is a bit slow right now, I want to ask fellow kiwis how their friends and family would react to the news of aliens being real. My family is pretty religious and said they wouldn't believe it no matter what proof was offered, they would think it was just CGI or holograms, etc. put on by the government to mislead people. They said even if they could be convinced that aliens are real, they would not trust the aliens and would assume they are actually demons sent to lead Christians astray.

Tbh I feel like this would be the belief for a lot of people.

Propably just worry how it will affect them monetarily first.

Worrying about the theological implications is for richer nations.

Brother's convinced it's a psyop of some sort. Basically the plot of Deus Ex, that it's a manufactured phenomenon to make the population confused, uncertain and scared. Dad thinks they're real and the equivalent to faefolk, mom's side of the family says they're demons.

Friends mostly just think it's a cultural psychological phenomenon and we're witnessing a new religion form based around misinterpreted experiences. 2 of my friends are hoping its real, one wants to leave with the aliens to explore the cosmos and the other wants everyone else to leave so the planet can heal and "we can get our shit together ". Opinions have been all over the place.

Most of my people are not religious, unless hating the government is a religion. But they assume they are being lied to by all authorities at all times so they would need to experience something personally to even engage with the topic.

I get a shrug and "well they aren't really bothering us nearly as much as the malicious humans so live and let live, if there's anything there".

I am more convinced now that Grusch's testimony contained some amount of truth than I was back when the Congressional hearings on UAPs first started. They are coming after him hard and the Washington Post and a few other journo organizations like The Intercept wrote a hit piece attacking him based on his prior mental health history. I believe Grusch was the fall man. Any sort of credibility that the threat/existence of UAPs had could be linked back to Grusch and the other associates at the hearing and debased from there. Unless this is some 4D chess by the government to create a multilayered narrative. But given the lack of attention to the Congressional hearing by both the public and media it leads me to believe there was for the first time in awhile there was truth spoken in Washington.

I don't think the fact that he's being "attacked" clearly bolsters his credibility by showing how The Program and its enablers are out to get him. There's too much plausible deniability.

This narrative is just as plausible: Investigative journalist Ken Klippenstein sniffed around to find dirt on Grusch because he doesn't like the smell of Republican-dominated UFO discourse. He makes contact with some of Grusch's former co-workers at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency and National Reconnaissance Office. They don't like him or his new-found fame talking about aliens on national TV, and they point to Grusch's arrest/detainment which easily could have been water cooler talk at the time it happened if someone blabbed. Klippenstein gets enough information combined with public databases to FOIA the records, and writes the story. Coulthart and NewsNation fumbled their attempt at damage control. Some will look at it and conclude that Grusch's problems carry on to the present day, add important context, and undermine what he is saying, especially since most of his information is secondhand.

If you become a prominent person, journos are going to dig up dirt on you. It's unavoidable. If Grusch's assertions are correct, he will be remembered as one of the most important whistleblowers of all time and mentioned in history books, even if he claims to not want fame. This was not really a major attack against Grusch. It was low-hanging fruit which was picked.

The counter to that narrative: Grusch already filed a whistleblower complaint that alleges retaliation against him, and having dirt served out on him on a silver platter to an eager journo was a natural extension of that. Klippenstein effectively admitted that he was told where/when to look, and it may not have been widely known at all among people who worked alongside Grusch. He was arguably not hiding his past issues since the full NewsNation interview did include a segment discussing his PTSD, even though it didn't make it to air. NewsNation and Coulthart got some of the specifics of the FOIA situation wrong, but are generally correct about a desperate hit piece planted by intelligence community insiders.

I believe Grusch was the fall man. Any sort of credibility that the threat/existence of UAPs had could be linked back to Grusch and the other associates at the hearing and debased from there. Unless this is some 4D chess by the government to create a multilayered narrative. Grusch can ride off into the sunset and the story will continue to develop without him. Other whistleblowers have already testified to the ICIG and/or Congress. The Senate's amendment to the NDAA has strong bipartisan support and is likely to be law by January 2024. The UFO/UAP declassification board will more strongly involve the Executive branch which has been mostly quiet, even though they are reportedly supportive of what Congress is doing. The appointment of people to that board and declassification of any documents will create more news stories. They can build up hype by releasing intriguing but low-value information until they are ready to drop the smoking gun.

There's not much to this but it's funny. Yes, Space Force service members are called Guardians (previously "space professionals").

Aliens probably exist, and they are probably lame and only interesting when first discovered. Then we learn about their culture and it's probably similar to ours only more advanced when it comes to technology. But everything else is just the same old garbage we have to deal with. Soy Aliens, lolcow aliens, annoying celebrity aliens, alien fast food, alien version of Netflix, alien capeshit movies, alien taxes, alien social media, alien version of Amazon, alien social justice warriors etc. etc.

Then they become boring and just another part of life. I prefer this over a war of the worlds scenario.

Everything that ever is or ever was is made out of the same thing: Waves.

Within certain Waves, there is a Maximum and a Minimum parameter allowed. Minimums and Maximums in our Universe would be things like Absolute Zero, Planck Temperature, the Event Horizon, the Big Bang (the opposite of the Event Horizon), and the Speed of Light (which also includes the speed of all Fundamental Forces). All of these things are ultimately expressions of Waves. Literally just like Audio Waves.

Outside of our 4 Dimensions of Spacetime, there are Waves that can achieve even higher and lower parameters, and if you position yourself there, you can then access those parameters.

The confusion comes if you don't properly conceptualize the reality that these additional parameters exist "on top", "below", "beside", "inside", "outside", "around"..ect the same location you inhabit.

The best way I can describe it is like being in VR. You have to be aware of the fact that you inhabit two locations at the same time. I'm both trying to kill this guy in one space, while also trying to avoid my coffee table in another. Both spaces have consequences, and you are operating in both of them at the same time.

And if you're someone like me and you buy into Superstring Theory and take it seriously, deadly seriously, you also recognize that the properties of you yourself are informed by higher and lower dimensional parameters in exactly the same way. The spin of your elementary particles, their charge and polarity, their mass, all of it is informed or caused by additional higher and lower dimensional parameters that people like to conceptualize as Strings, Extra Dimensions, D-branes, P-branes, Compactification, Calabi-Yau Manifolds, SUSY, and in certain versions of superstring theory (my kind of versions) M-branes. It all exists in multiple spaces simultaneously. The things deciding the "dice rolls" of quantum probability are likely these higher and lower dimensional systems, and if we stepped outside our 4 Dimensions we would see their snake like manifolds and construct a perfect Newtonian analog of what they are doing and there would be no probability. And there may come a day when that occurs.

I don't believe in a soul, btw, nor the afterlife. People usually start to make those leaps in logic when they think about this. Rather I just think that the self is merely like a centimeter, it's just a way in which you try to measure something that cannot be measured.

I can not die because I was never living. Nor can I live because i'll never die. I simply am and always will be. There is no self, body, or soul, there is just everything. And so the question of why I am who I am rather than someone else is nonsensical. Who I am is simply another facet or expression of you. And you are simply totality. I am no more the things that make me than the things that make me are the things that I am.

Under this perspective the Speed of Light is just like the Event Horizon, and just like the Event Horizon, things can go beyond it.
