True, maybe his lawyer did get him in a group home and he feels happier there. At the very least he will have a level of discipline and routine that he hasn't had since he left HS. That would do him good.I don't think Chris wants to go back to live with Barb. He always wanted to get away from his parents.

There are many alternatives.
Agreed, and I get a little MATI with so many assuming Chris raped Barb. If Barb started any of this on her autistic son, she's a monster that should have been locked up. Even if she didn't, it's still an awful situation with the boundary issues she definitely caused.Yeah people are either forgetting or deliberately ignoring that Barb had been coercing and guilting Chris into sleeping in the same bed as her and outright cuddling with her in the years immediately after Bob's death, and that Chris had expressed his discomfort with this. I can't imagine that this didn't mess with his already messed up sense of boundaries. I'm also not that convinced of Barb's alleged senility and "being completely unaware," considering her past schemes and the fact that she's apparently been living on her own for the past two years. If she legitimately is out of her mind, then what happened is terrible, but otherwise this was her getting bit by the beast that she created. Furthermore, I'm not totally convinced that these weren't consensual interactions.
I'd assume it was Chris confessing to the police as if he'd done nothing wrong was what happened. They're not going to arrest someone based on the say-so of some nutjob all the way across the country. If anything they'd be inclined to disregard anything from Internet autists after literally over a decade of incessant bullshit calls about Chris. The confession to ILJ was actually very weak evidence. It would be almost trivial for the defense to argue that Chris is literally so retarded he could be goaded into admitting anything.
I'd say yeah he's absolutely happier in the group home. I don't know the specific rules of what such an arrangement entails, and if it's just a bunch of legitimate retards that he lives with, but I'd imagine its easier than living with a demented mother constantly being under financial pressure. Only exception would be no internet access, but I don't think Chris has anything like that. Chris honestly should just become a streamer or something to make a decent living.True, maybe his lawyer did get him in a group home and he feels happier there. If Chris didn't already have delusions of godhood, this sure as shit would've sealed it
imagine the alternative thoughDude, doing over a year in what is essentially solitary confinement is not getting off "scot free".
One month in solitary is considered a long stretch in the hole. More than a year is literal hell.
What a fucking joke
We've actually seen Chris try streaming. He literally demanded five bucks after some random person over co-op helped him with a level in Uncharted 4 as I recall.I'd say yeah he's absolutely happier in the group home.
