Yeah most fundies have at least one kid that becomes an atheist (and is usually disowned as a result). I think some of the younger kids especially might say fuck this shit, especially seeing what their older sisters are going through (neverending pregnancies and Jill harassing them as much as possible, even with a baby in the NICU).

That said Jill starving her kids in addition to all the other fucked up shit she does might prevent the kids from leaving the fold. There's a reason starvation is a common cult tactic.

Are there any noteworthy updates? Is Jill actually leaving Kaylee and her family alone for now?
 
Here's a Rod update. It's not great: I'm stealing everything from Reddit. I've credited those OPs by leaving in the profile pictures they forgot to crop out when they uploaded screenshots.

Anyway. Baby Gideon got to come home, except "come home" turned out to mean "go on the big family vacation." Perfect for a premature baby who just got out of the NICU! The whole family, including the Kellers, have been on what Jill always refers to as their once-a-year vacation-- in spit of the fact they seem to go on several vacations a year.

Jill is a prolific poster, so there's a ton of stuff I just skipped over. She also tends to take and upload big batches of similar picture, and each photo tends to have its own air of the bizarre. This was already a big batch of photos, though, so I'm skimping.

This was Jill's announcement that the were going back to Florida. They came along for the Rod family vacation.

Janessa had her hands in his eyes and mouth the entire vacation, except when she was trying to drag him around by the midsection. There are plenty of photos and videos of her manhandling him on separate occasions. She's old enough to know better, and an adult should step in.

She also posted this infographic about the earning structure for Plexus. Reddit commenters helpfully clarified that the averages are skewed numbers, and it's possible to earn $0 monthly/yearly at your given rank. The very few high earners make the averages look disproportionally high and therefore do not reflect median income.

There were tons and tons of photos of the nightly Bible studies, each lead by one of the older males. The attendees generally looked tired, but poor Kaylee was actively falling asleep. There was one photo with her head completely against her chest, but I couldn't find it again for this post. She also wore that Pooh t-shirt for a lot of the vacation.

There are approximately three billion photos from these shots, so this is a very condensed version. Jill got matching dresses for the girls (including herself, of course) and did these shoots of the girls and boys. The captions were very weird and very Jill.

Poor Kaylee, wtf Jill. It's like she had a compulsion to drag all her medically frail family members all over creation. It's like she's intentionally trying to make them ill or get injured.

Do the Rods and the grown up Rodlettes with kids get childhood vaccines for their babies? I doubt they believe in covid vaccines so even if they do give the kids the basic vaccines, they'll still be vulnerable to covid and probably the annual flu too. I don't have high hopes for absolute mutt trash who won't even use a carseat.
I think babies so young can't even get vaccines yet. This is so irresponsible with a premie. He could get RSV or whooping cough and suffocate in his crib cage while sleeping. I can imagine him hooked up to a ventilator for RSV with the mom dancing like that tik tok, except it's grandma and her spawn doing gaudy religious songs instead.

I agree. She may be mildly retarded but she's also infantilized bc Jill has womb envy of her daughter's fertility and wants to pretend she has a baby too. I bet she lets that kid get away with almost anything. The little gremlin shouldn't even be allowed to touch the premie until he's fully vaccinated. Idk Jill probably still starves Janessa and abuses her if she does anything that pisses Jill off. It's just that Jill doesn't give a shit about her manhandling the nemlings because she doesn't actually give a shit about the wellbeing of any of her kids/grandkids.

Jill cares about herself, everyone else exists to cater to her whims.

The initial announcement feels like it was written specifically to stroke Jill's bloated ego. I would say Jill penned it herself, but the quality would be much poorer, and every line would be punctuated with emojis.

I don't doubt that Jill will leave the family behind (save, perhaps, for Dave). She'll probably foist them on the Kellers or the Pearls (again). I can't wait for the inevitable cruise videos; there are countless ways for Jill to make an ass of herself on a cruise, and I'm all here for it.

No way. The first thing I thought when I saw that cruise post was "she's not going to go". There is just no way she'll leave her family out of her control/harassment for that long.

A Cruise to Haiti? maybe I'm just slow but I wasn't aware Haiti was a hot travel destination considering it's pretty much run by a bunch of waring gangs at the moment there's a not 0 chance that something may go very wrong.

Jill knows, deep down in that black soul of hers, something that she will never, ever speak aloud: level of control she exerts over her family is because she’s terrified they will leave her. In Jill’s nightmares, every night when she closes her eyes and slips into unconsciousness, she imagines her entire family slipping quietly away into the night to get away from her.

Jill's left the family before, the trip to Nashville for the Plexus convention? Her and Shrek had a mini vacation with that.

And didn't they stay in some resort in one of the Carolinas earlier this year? I believe it was after a visit to pester the Nurthans IIRC.

I could be wrong, haven't had any coffee yet, but it seems like Jill and Shrek leave the barndo at the drop of a hat and leave the older kids to watch the rest of the brood.
