It honestly reminds me of Ethan Ralph or Dick Masterson. like how normal people may have a bad era of their lives, these 3 had a good era. a solid 2-4 year span where they're uncharacteristically more well liked and in turn treat people/fans nicer than usual. Because of random circumstances involving the judicial system all 3 got a fuck load of unearned good will and by just not having any competent haters they were able to keep up the appearances of a good somewhat normal person. if you brought up 5 years ago juu juu the cow, Nick's coomer personality, or Ethan Ralphs alcoholism it would be mocked and effectively shouted down with most fans going "thats way too absurd to be true"
Looking back its pretty obvious they're all shitheads but they had enough fans to shout down the traits that were always there. the same "fuck you i do what i want" response to good criticism was always there for them but its only now that the tides have shifted against them. If you notice in their personal lives their family and community think very poorly of them, a big reason they could relate to dudes in their early 20s is because as far as everyone around them is concerned they're stuck at that level despite being in their 40s. none of those 3 have friends, or the ones they do have are just as scummy and vile as them. i know 100% for a fact if Maddox or Monty sued Vito and thats how we were introduced to him, you'd have people cheerleading him on on this very site. For fucks sake look how many people got suckered into supporting the vickers or PPP.
Jordan Peterson is a more mainstream version of this but there seems to be quite a few lolcows who's story is: got viral from being attacked, end up being a lot nicer to fans than they are to anyone in their personal life because of undeserved respect and cash, the cracks in the ego appear but are shouted down from the massive fanbase, eventually someone big enough calls them out in a way that gets the eceleb to drop the mask and boom we suddenly see them the way their family and former co-workers see them. then their career slowly fades and they make more mistakes as suddenly they're overwhelmed by the amount of people keeping track of their shitty behavior and mocking them. they can go back to real life or keep chugging along with ebegging what few fans they have, but the same thing that kept them from getting a career when they're middle aged is still there in them.
the worst part is this isn't even a new phenomenon, its just an internet version of a face in the crowd. instead of being backed by a corporation watching the ratings like a hawk, its an audience giving its money directly to you. Wings of Redemption follows the same trajectory. its one of the bigger lolcow archtypes and separates them from the real e-celebs because instead of having to put in honest work or having a good personality they just hit the lottery. they're so unable to operate in the real world that even if they didn't get that e-fame or the cash they'd still be in almost the exact same place they are now. just plugging along with a small fanbase and barely any income, hoping their lazy work ethnic might pay off. people are probably saying to themselves "but that's all ecelebs" but the biggest difference is some type of work ethic and ability to function in every day life to keep them from being such shitty people. a willingness to have friends instead of worshipers and branch out of their comfort zone and actually do what they might not like but what pays the bills and even after all that have some sort of arc to their lives that proves it meant something that they genuinely didn't take it for granted and would be entirely different if not given that shot but ultimately in a better place because like a real human being they grew. instead like some white trash lottery winner random success didn't effect these bozos; their habits and morale failings are the same only now whoever they meet when they ask themselves "whats this guys problem?" can have a website that will happily answer that for them.

This is Andrew Wahoo (formerly AndrewWarsnowoard), the manlet simp for Nick. He is most recently infamous for becoming the editor of Joe Ball's comic and bitching out at ElissaClips with a 20 minute video when she began to turn detractor. He lives in MN, and has been to the Rekieta house multiple times. He knew Nick before YT via church, I think, and sees Nick as his E-daddy, unironically.

20 fucking years ago a goon on the somethingawful forum made a post explaining in rather autistic detail the issues/legality of child porn.
Namely you have to abuse kids to create it, thus its manufacture transport trade and ownership is banned.

I don't think that's really fair. "Redo of Healer" was just one of those "controversy of the season"-type deals, much like "Interspecies Reviewers." Many channels on YT (Hero Hei, Raging Golden Eagle and other Flashcast regulars) jumped on it for easy clicks. IIRC, there even was a weekly review of fresh episodes on Flashcast.
But what about Nick? Well, like a boomer he is, Nick took the joke and proceeded to run it into the ground and then some. Much as he did with the fucking Balldo. No, I don't think it's his favorite anime, or even one he genuinely likes. It's just an anime which he happens to have watched fully and somewhat recently. People going "tsk-tsk, he keeps shedding his weeb audience" must've gotten under his skin, hence this poser shit. Watching something controversial but recent would've been too much effort, so falling back on "Redo of Healer" it was.
For everyone else, this is just a mediocre show notable only for its content being outrageous to Western audiences. For Nick, this is something to find deeper meaning in and pretend like he's still "one of the edgy kids" for having watched it. See, he's not a prude, he can watch and enjoy a controversial revenge rape fantasy too! The problem is, everyone stopped giving a shit about "Redo of Healer" 30 minutes after the final episode aired. Pretending like he still totally does frfr is just making him look clueless to weebs and weird to normal people.
You'll remember him writing a "serious" review of "50 Shades of Grey." He only mentions it every time any other book comes up. "I wrote a review of this fanfiction and found deeper meaning in it!
