If you look at the comment section and QRTs (excuse me, reposts), there's as many people making fun of it as there is people condemning it.
It's like @Vault said before, fish just aren't 'cute' enough to really rile people up enough. If this had been puppies or kittens, people would be up in arms about it. But it's just fish and the actual event is 7 years ago so expect memes and fetish art based on it.

Give an inch and they take a mile. In situations like this, one must become either an unstoppable force or an immovable object.
Makes me think of how every time word gets out of a furry being arrested for a sex crime, instead of asking what could be done to keep them out, they instead say, "Hey, not all furries are like that!" They don't want to fix any of their problems. They just want to cover their own asses to not look like the bad guys.

I was browsing around, and found a screenshot of the guys journal I mentioned here. The link to the journal itself has been deleted as I suspected, but his username was something like SabreOfPain.
But. yeah - I feel like this sort of thing is probably more common than people want to think, both in and out of furry. It's just rare that these creeps are as brazenly open as this to post their escapades on somewhere as public as FA. But stuff like hard kink porn in Asia is full of eels, fish, all sorts. I would personally count it all as a form of zoosadism, no matter how high or low certain species might rank on the 'cute' or 'pain feeling' scale. The fact a living being is just degraded into becoming a disposable sex toy just shows a frightening lack of empathy for these people.
You'll get the zoos with the dogs and whatever try to claim the animal is tooootally into it guys look at his body language and he's not fighting back, but the fact a lot of them bring their pets around and pimp them out to other people and have pretty much trained them into these behaviours doesn't sound like consent at all. If you're talking about animals like fish and worms and what not, at least you don't have that excuse to try cop out with. You're just hands down sick. Yeah, you're not going to be able to argue how a worm has consented.

Not sure what exactly is inaccurate about the word "groomed" here. You can't just change someone to be gay. It takes long-time, systematic buttering people with "Hey but what about THIS dude? He is kinda cute, right?" to get someone to cave. If you think this doesn't happen in the gay community, you have never seen an actual predator before. The kinds of people that do this shit are the "I am gay, because girls SUCK" type and have 0 issues trying to stick the lead into their straight friends circle. Furry gay groomers have it even easier because half the fucking straight furries are "kinda bi as long as it is artwork!" anyway.
But of course, instead of addressing the issue head on, you have people clobber the OP with "far-right dogwhistle" so he has to issue a 'correction' in a second post that most people won't ever read or even see, thus burying the issue under the resulting mound of backlash.

On the one hand, the amount of gay porn Braeburned has drawn over the years truly beggars belief so I have no problem believing him to be so brainbroken as to try to groom a teen.
On the other hand, that's the most basic bitch, boilerplate "someone groomed me and I'm bringing no receipts" call-out post I've seen in a long time. Even the deliberately overdramatic tone sounds generic.
