The vast majority of people in this thread are, and are dudes (probably... I'm assuming). I'm not saying he doesn't have male critics. He has loads. Only that it seems like he predominately tries to gaslight and respond the girls way more than the boys these days. Almost as if they get under his skin more. That's what I mean when I say it seems like the girls are doing a better job.

With respect to the first part: does he? I recall that when @AltisticRight first scraped Rekieta's Instagram following list, it was found he was following like five women who appeared to match with women from the Locals chat. If you do a search for Instagram the list will pop right up and you can check for yourself. I also recall noting that even Andrew_Wahoo, who according to the lore Himedall has posted in this thread knew Nick before his streaming career hit it big, didn't appear to have gotten a follow back from Rackets at the time.
So it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that the former (not even disgruntled at this point) fan Nick is writing essays to in the DMs half a year after she messaged him and said she was going to walk away from his community is a female.
I'd say it's bad optics but at this point there is already so much smoke around the swinger shit that I don't think any of it changes anything unless one of the disgruntled fans leaks something where he's propositioning them. And I don't think that will happen because I don't think Rekieta ist dumb enough to have fallen into that trap.
There's also Claire. He seethed about Claire's streams more than he did Null contemporaneously telling him to "pull up". At the time I thought it made sense - Claire was a softer target with less clout, but we've now seen leaked DMs where he's seething about her privately as well.
When he was bragging late last year, about how the female proportion of his audience had increased dramatically, I recall it was often in connection with the fact that he believed that women engaged more with his "relationship" content. I think that, instead of concluding that the Depp trial brought in a bunch of female fans, he concluded that they were brought in by the raw charisma of Nick Rekieta and they wanted to hear him talk about how he likes to coom.

It's funny too. Yesterday he was late to his own stream, explaining that he took his kid to a soccer match and got home so tired (why?) and slept until 9:50pm. His show is 11pm...way more than enough time for 'prep' (he doesn't prep). And what do I see him doing in that time? On twitter dick riding dick. Also pretty sure he was tweeting for almost 2 hours, not 1 hour so the 9:50 time he gave was also bunk.
I was waiting for this particular show cause I wanted to see if Nick was gonna have masterson on since maddox is a thing and Eric did say he has an issue with Nick platforming people who constantly shit on other people (namely Eric lol). Was gonna see if Nick's 'odd' was gonna kick in.

Along with other photographic evidence. If he wants to deflect criticism about specific stories as to what went on there, it might actually be to his benefit to set the story straight. I'm sure not everybody would believe what he has to say, but some would. I don't think continued outright denial is really gonna fly. Even people like @Kalea, who were on good terms with him, seem confident he went.

This comes up because of Nick running interference on behalf of Dick's recent drama with Eric July. Nick defending Drexel to Null and denying going to Hedonism II (or something?) is plain silly. At least Nick doesn't call Nick someone with down syndrome this time (just autistic).
Nick asserting that he was just calling up Null to tell him how happy he was with his life and that KF sucks fits the way he approaches things with Null when he knows he's coming from a position of weakness. Overall, it sounds like Nick was bringing up a grievance (or two) and when no opening for wiggle room presented itself, Nick pretended he really wanted to talk about something else. Doesn't sound like he's fooling anyone but himself with his tactics.

He called up (or texted) Null at like 12am, from the shower, the other night (I believe) and Null (somewhat reluctantly) gave some insight as to what was said on today's MATI. It was very weird. Nick is mad at people (including Null) not liking Drex, as well as the Farms saying he went to Hedonism II, BUT he wants Null to know his life is totally awesome and he's making 7 figures from Rumble.

DMs can be a way of quarantining conversations, where if someone leaks DMs, the concerned party can:
1. handwave away the contents by saying it was private/candid and therefore requisite context is missing (the Faran leaks)
2. distract from the contents by focusing on the leaker's dishonorable actions
3. control the narrative (as in the case of PerceptionChek). If the target leaks the DMs, and then proceed to 1 or 2
There's more to be said, but those are the main points. Nick's actions toward women in general have been predatory in nature and in practice, so while there's nothing inherently wrong with DMs, recommend others (women in particular) not engage Nick in this way.
Reading between the lines... a possible warning shot from Nick (and his best buddy Dick). They may be looking to make Null's life a bit harder. They have definitely demonstrated the capacity for it and neither are on good terms with Null.
