Recent Discord bans for hatespeech

Over the past few months, it appears Discord admins have been going on a banning spree. Someone I know was permabanned just for saying the n-word in a public server. Multiple small 'based' Discords some of my friends ran have been deleted, and the admins of the server have had their accounts banned with the following email:

Same thing happened to me recently, I got banned out of nowhere and found out a bunch of other friends of mine from one specific server was also banned. It's rather crazy how discord just does ban by association because many of my friends banned rarely ever posted in the server or were even all that political.

3. Your data was not private and was being sold.

At the time of their launch, what they offer was nothing new when I was using TeamSpeak when I was gaming.

Yeah it's cucked but previously, they just deleted offending Discord servers, this is a significant escalation with permabanning accounts. Also, the servers they used to ban were like, 2k+ members. These servers are less than 50 people.

Genuinely, I'm shocked I got banned after 7 years of using the service. But I also got to watch the downfall from being the main reason I dumped skype to now being worse than skype.
