TUG's OP, much like this one used to be, was a product of it's time. It was started by a Weeb Warrior after TUG made an allegation that Renfamous came to where he lived and smashed his mailbox. In the politics of Weebwars, anybody that supported Vic was generally considered good, and anybody that attacked Vic was generally considered bad. Hence: TUG good, Renfamous bad. Today, Renfamous still probably wouldn't earn many fans on KF, but the mailbox story is generally believed to be bullshit and WW is largely dead. People who know TUG from what he gets up to in CG have lamented how garbage that OP is, but nobody wants to step up and fix it.I was not overly familiar with TUG, and so took the time to review his thread here. Seems to start out somewhat supportive then seems to turn on him. Sounds like a shiller of his own content and a grifter of others. Didn't realize how apt my comment about 'only grifters need a friend like Nick' was.
Also, even without knowing these things, TUG's statement still sounds ignorant at best.
I don't hate TUG but, yes, he is very grifty. Basically a lot, if not most, of the people surrounding Rekieta are.
FWIW, I certainly think you did a better job analyzing her your megapost than TiC. One of the things TiC used to do in this thread was bang on the fact she's "bug eyed." Sure, it was funny the first couple of times, but then it got a really old.Kayla started out with a lot of goodwill and it carried her through for awhile, even making her seem like a victim of Nick's degeneracy to many. Found it puzzling why so many were sympathetic toward her, and so queried this thread for the basis before making a megapost on Kayla.
Kayla's physical appearance is largely irrelevant save for context clues of her self-perception (and occasional teasing). Kayla's character and conduct are what interest me the most. Kayla may have limited her online presence, but it is doubtful that anything else has changed. Kayla is likely the same person, just more MATI these days.
Doesn't anybody here NOT think that? Isn't it obvious? It seems he expects Null to disavow this very thread, would be my guess.
I dunno about Null, but once upon a time, Nick actually did have quite a bit of influence on the Farms. Including over a handful of moderators, and MANY users. He might be banking he still does (and I'd think he'd be wrong). The Weeb Wars subforum was largely created to document things in furtherance of Vic's lawsuit. We dredged up tard cum. He'd drunkenly repeat it on his show while Ty would add it to his folder. He gets paid. We get laughs. Maybe Vic wins. Some people will argue that the whole thing was a fulfilment of a personal army request, but it was also largely seen as mutually beneficial to both parties at the time. It's just funny how Nick assumes he has any leverage over Null when he's explicitly stated he has no control over the narratives on the Farms and Nick can't even dispute this because he instinctively and immediately pivots to non-sequiturs about how great his life is.
Now? He basically wants censorship concerning anything involving him or anyone connected to him. He hasn't got a prayer in hell.
James 2:14-26.I seem to recall something about faith without actions and actions without faith.
Gosh it would be handy if there were some relevant commentary on that somewhere in that dang ol' book he nominally ascribes to.
But it's my understanding that modern American protestants largely reject or ignore those passages for some reason. Nick has claimed affiliation with a protestant offshoot denomination (was it Lutheran?). This is in contrast to Catholics, who are super hardcore about the idea you need both faith and works. Nick claimed he was raised Catholic, but does not consider himself such anymore, and is not raising his kids as Catholic.
