If I recall, it was income related to his piracy sites, ads and such. He was apparently very bad about reporting said income to the IRS and the State of Wisconsin, and then refused to make good on the payments, so he kept getting hit with penalties.

A bunch of c-z list celebs followed her for her "stunning and brave fight against the evil gamergate conspiracy" such as Felicia Day and the kid who played matilda and retweeted some of her dumbassery. Basically she was another prop for their brand of "LOOK HOW SOCIALLY AWARE AND VIRTUOUS I AM!" shit, and in return she got a chunk of their sychophantic SJW followers.

I was reading back through the Nyberg Internet Defense Force thread and came across these posts from before I joined here.

"Jessie"/Keith Donoghue is a longtime friend of Sarah's and basically her second-in-command on ffshrine. He takes care of admin duties most of the time, from what I can tell. I wouldn't be surprised if his name was on some of the legal paperwork.

In March/April 2015 when Sarah pulled her last "emergency donation drive," I tipped off one of the FFS mods about Sarah's tax debts. He posted what I told him in the "thanks for the donations" thread Sarah started when she brought the forums back up. Jessie/Keith jumped to Sarah's defense when the users started asking questions about where their money was going.
