You had me in the first part. I am not going to lie.Not sure what exactly is inaccurate about the word "groomed" here. You can't just change someone to be gay. It takes long-time, systematic buttering people with "Hey but what about THIS dude? He is kinda cute, right?" to get someone to cave. If you think this doesn't happen in the gay community, you have never seen an actual predator before. The kinds of people that do this shit are the "I am gay, because girls SUCK" type and have 0 issues trying to stick the lead into their straight friends circle. Furry gay groomers have it even easier because half the fucking straight furries are "kinda bi as long as it is artwork!" anyway.
The mainstreaming of transgenderism (especially online) mixed with trans narcissis means that any trans issue, especially anything remotely anti-trans, becomes pushed on anyone, including Drag Queen Story Hour. Since drag queens were still rather obscure (people having some rough idea about funny crossdresers t most), the whole 'Drag Queen Grooming Hour' controversy was the firs time anyone learned much about drag queens, especially on how they were hypnotising children with 'educatiobal' queer pornography. In fact, not only is drag, by its nature, pornographic, but queer books have a history of pornography. Despite drag not being transgenderism, the two are otherwise closely related, especially since they both involve womanface (or manface) in th end. The pro-BGLT+ people know this, too, which is the reason why drag queens were called the 'Marines of the queer movement'. Because hypnosis and drag are two themes that many people are discovering a the same time, they would logically conflate the two, which is accurate. If you include the closely related transgenderism, then they would accurately conflate transgenderism with hypnosis. Do you remembe r/eggirl? In fact, this actually continues the proof that a lot of transgender people were that way because of being trained that way or otherwise abused while children, no matter how hard the pro-BGLT+ insis that is a stereotypical myth. But of course, instead of addressing the issue head on, you have people clobber the OP with "far-right dogwhistle" so he has to issue a 'correction' in a second post that most people won't ever read or even see, thus burying the issue under the resulting mound of backlash.
Of course, the narcissism of the pro-BGLT+ movement says that anything bad that happens to BGLT+ people i strictly because of phobia. Remember that, even though 'TERF' literally means 'trans-exclusionary radical feminist', the 'radical feminist' part is ignored. In fact, the phrase 'trans-exclusionary' is not only defined 'whateve remotely upsets trans people' but also includes tonnes of random, totally unrelated things because of 'cryptoterf dogwhistles', let alone the pædo extension Shinigami Eyes, which marks actual transgender people.
The conflation, 'myths', and narcisis mean tha trans people see the allegations and, rather than call off the drag queens who read to children stories about pounding tom-toms, claim tha the anti-grooming allegations are just a cover of their transphobia under a more socially acceptable label. This leads to the claims that 'groomer' actually means 'trans'. That also goes to the accusatiobs that queer books are not actually being banned because they are pornographic but because they are queer.
