why do bong still use stone?
We use it because we've always used it. We use feet and inches rather than just inches (or cm) for height, and we use stone and lbs for weight. Simple as.

the local doctors have been taught in it and it would be confusing to change it now
Doctors universally use metric.

I mean these fat fucks are fat but a car shouldn’t break from a 700 lb load. Shitty UK cars btfo.
If you read the article, you will find that the only source for the claim is the hamplanet couple themselves. The taxi firm says they refused service because the couple physically couldn't fit.

The pedesrian still had right of way but I see your point
The ped was in the right, but risking injury or death (if the video maker was a bit older) to say 'I was right' seems not so wise. Urbanists themselves are not so wise. They seem to be utter absolutists who've been brainfucked by activist social media culture which seems to be shouting down someone who probably holds a not too different opinion.

Oh they are absolutists, that much is true. It's lucky she didn't get hurt by that retard thinking he owned the road, or that he didn't get violent after. The potential violence part is why you should carry, even if a woman could probably beat his ass.

Poor Jason can't make videos on the Netherland's housing crisis because the Dutch disagree with his opinion that their cities are affordable:

Being an urbanist and believing in urbanism sounds like a 24/7 miserable experience full of complaining. I've never had a big problem with my fellow citizens or my transportation but I must just be a dumb car-brain.

I just google mapped Amsterdam to Bern, Switzerland (he didn't say, so I just picked). The trip by car is 8 hours and 15 minutes. Figure an hour and 15 for a stop for lunch and a stop for gas/bathroom and some padding in case of traffic. Subtract 9 hours 30 minutes from the time you want to arrive in Switzerland, leave then. Trip planned. Done.

Why do they insist on doing everything the hard way?

This is a bit of a theme with Jason, right? I remember seeing a post way back in the thread about how he supposedly "gave up on fixing America" years ago. 30% American isn't even that big of a deal iirc, a lot of the times youtubers share demographic data Americans are usually at or above that level unless the channel is some unique national niche.

So why, if he claims to not care about America and is actively trying to get Americans not to watch his content, does he keep making content about America? Every second video that isn't specifically about "Amsterdam good because uhhhhh hmmmmm well..." is complaining about America.

2/6 of his most popular videos, including the one he pins to the main page, are explicitly about America based on the title. A third, the one about trucks, is solely about America once you get into the video since that's where land yachts are most popular. The Suburbia one is one part "Amsterdam good" and five parts "Canada Discount America bad!" so it counts as well. The Stroad video is 18 minutes of shitting on American street design. That leaves 1/6 videos that aren't 90% America bashing. And he wonders how he gets his audience? Does he think the Flemish spend all their free time on the internet watching shit designed to make them feel smug because bicycle? Even his newer content, which is more focused on just sucking off the Randstad, still liberally uses footage of America and Canada as examples of bad city design.

On a side note, I think I know why cyclists show complete disregard for stop signs and other road rules now. It's because their god told them to.

He always does this. He'll say he's going to stop focusing on America because it's just so far gone and then he'll put out another video on America. At this point I take it as the ramblings of a known liar and ignore it. I think he says it just to get the people who notice how much he hates America off of his back.

That's still 30% too many for him, because any amount of disagreement is too much.
