Fatrick woke up at 3 AM and couldn't get back to sleep until he counted 18 stalker childs enjoying prison. Almost all of these tweets are one of the standard copypaste responses, so I won't post them, but I found these two exchanges kinda funny.

Now he's telling Javier to enjoy prison :story:
It's really not surprising that people take such a dislike to Pat when all it takes to set off his hair trigger narc injury is to contradict or ask for clarification on anything he says, not matter how outlandish. If you don't take Patrick at his word and cup his balls he immediately defaults to his own brand of ridiculous condescending aggression. I've lost count of the amount of people who have stumbled across Patrick, asked honest and well meaning questions about how he found himself in such a bizarre situation, to then be childed and talked down to by this bafflingly hostile man child.
That makes them go back through his feed and see that he does this shit to himself.

In defiance of all sense and all advice on how to deal with trolls, Pats need to have the last word has him responding without fail to every single person that talked to him.
I've seen Pat catching up with 4 day old Patposts at 4am in the morning, he's like a comic book character, or a GTA V NPC, its hard to comprehend he's real.

Its funny to see how on his side Javier was at first, to now, where we're seeing the apotheosis of a Patposter, and Pat has only himself to blame. I can only imagine the shit Pat has been bombarding him with in DM's.
His personality is so abrasive, so condescending, and more than anything so fucking bizarre he manages to make anyone who has to deal with him end up hating his guts.
Its a gift.
Just not a good one.
Pat is like some fucked up online Anti Midas.

Pat's ability to turn people against him is amazing, like some kind of perverted superpower.
yeah its too funny, pat's demands to javier regarding there only being ONE SIDE to the story is what turned him from believing pat outright to asking questions to now joining the ranks of the stalker children, all because Pat just can't shut the hell up and stop being an asshole for 5 seconds.

Pat reaching out to Javier for his media tour and accidentally getting the one reporter who actually bothers to ask questions is an amazing own-goal. His deranged motion making it into the podcast episode is perfect.

I think Javier may have been nervous about the Pests bothering him after talking to Pat and now realizes that they're not going to.
You also have to consider Pat is the one who gets the first word in. Javier likely got the impression of a horde of Cybernetic Nazi DeathMachines. Once he realised no one would bother him, and the Elite Stalker Childs Division are actually only interested in Pat and his flock.

Thats the best bit when an outsider is pulled in, they almost always end up against Pat. Every persons PatCycle has the "why doesnt he just stop, change his number, anything but agitate the situation?!".

An attempt to infer Pat's IQ score from his GPA.

  1. GPA scores are correlated with IQ scores;
  2. The literature reports a range of correlation coefficients (r), and the median of the reports is around 0.5;
  3. A correlation coefficient of 0.5 is described as "moderately positive";
  4. We know Patrick's GPA score, namely, 1.7;
  5. The mean GPA in the USA, from recent reports, is 3.0, with a standard deviation (SD) of 0.4;
  6. The non-Hispanic white mean IQ is 100, with an SD of 15. Also, the mean IQ of those whose highest level of schooling is high school is 100;
  7. A GPA of 1.7 is 3.25 SDs below the average;
  8. r x SD_y = SD_x (SD_y is the number of SDs of GPA above/below the mean, SD_x is the number of SDs of IQ above/below the mean);
  9. 0.5 x (-3.25) = -1.625, i.e., Pat's IQ score would be 1.625 SDs below the mean;
  10. Pat's IQ = 100 + (-1.625 x 15) = 100 - 24.375 = 75.625 ≈ 76
  11. An IQ of 76 is categorized as "borderline (retarded)".

This isn't an exact figure; it is approximately 76 because:
  • r is 0.5; and
  • for any given GPA, there will be a cluster of IQ scores around 76, i.e., the standard error.

That notwithstanding, an IQ score in this low range does explain much about Pat's behavior documented in the current thread.

PS:- It would be useful if someone reviewed my logic and arithmetic. I think it's good because the result is not outlandish; it's in the range of the expected.

You forgot to account for the fact that he is mathematically fat.

Math checks out. Have you considered the impact of chronic alcohol consumption potentially impacting that score? There are reported mean differences of up to -7.6 in some medical journals.

I don't know if these are the dictionary definitions, but its how I've always categorized it.

I don’t know if they are the “official” definitions, but they work effectively.

I am not faulting your calculations or logic.
Isn’t it true however that IQ is flawed?
It’s perfectly possible for people who do well on IQ tests to be throughly stupid in most other matters and conversely low IQ people being witty and engaging, with sharp minds.
It is supposed to be best when the subject is unaware they are being tested for IQ.

In my opinion, Fat is convinced he is smart and thinks this means he doesn’t need to put the work in.

We know Patrick's GPA score, namely, 1.7

Doesn’t that 1.7 include his gym scores? I may be misremembering but I thought if you took out gym his GPA was 1.2… Correct me if I’m wrong, but if I’m right, shouldn’t gym scores be excluded, or do they actually correlate with IQ?

Good question. I am unsure if 1.7 includes gym scores. Those would be excluded in calculating IQ.

The scan of the report card is faded in parts, so that I couldn't verify the 1.7. I went with the 1.7 because that was the figure being quoted here and on Twitter.

I remember that the pests calculated that his GPA was significantly higher if you included his gym scores than if you didn’t. I’m just not sure whether the 1.7 is the before or after figure.

It does really melt my sides to look at him now and realize his best subject in school involved fitness. [insert “fitness dick in my mouth in the sauna” joke here].

However what is much less credible is Pat's repeated claim that his parents have been Swatted. There are no dox of his parents either here, at OnA, or anywhere else that I am aware of. I've never seen anyone even attempt to find out where they live, nor show any interest in doing so.
There's a thread dedicated to Tommys muddy driveway over on OnA that has his address.

The thing to remember about space travel is any acceleration in doesn't get lost to things like drag, so unless you turned off the engines pretty quickly so that you would have just as much fuel left to decelerate at the far end, you would be constantly going faster and faster right until the halfway mark where you need to turn everything around and slow the fuck down.
You can't just keep accelerating in space because there's a hard limit to how fast you can go based on the exhaust velocity of the rocket (theoretically this could be slightly under the speed of light if you have a photon rocket and some nigh-magical fuel). Rick is fatly correct in this case, since an Orion-style drive will only need to burn at 1G for a given period of time to reach its top speed (assuming it has the fuel).

Of course, his fat-addled brain missed key details like the fact that all the water will spill out in the brief moment of weightlessness during "The Flip" plus will make literal tidal waves as the ship does a deceleration burn at 1G. Probably would happen again since the spin gravity would need to stop during that time and then start up again, meaning ANOTHER period of weightlessness.

It's also really boring, like why is his book just some fag looking for stolen art in between fucking child hookers? A generation ship would need THOUSANDS of nuclear bombs to speed up and slow down, like I once read an article from some engineer proposing building a bunch of Orion drive ships as a solution for nuclear proliferation. Imagine how hard it is to keep track of every single bomb, and then realize that a good engine (especially one that needs to work centuries after not being used lest everyone fucking die) will have redundancy, so you probably could "borrow" a single bomb.

Complete waste of a setting, just like Pat is a complete waste of food that could actually feed people instead of bloat a fat fuck into an even bigger fat fuck.

I think Pat is a retard but not a medical definition of retard. He's a midwit so probably in the ~100 for IQ and he has some serious mental disorders I don't know which though.

This is closer to my impression of him. He doesn’t sound thick on interviews and things.

Like his articulation is reasonable.
To compare again to Ethan Ralph, if you listen to Ralph under his stereotypical “good old boys” accent, he really has that giveaway drawl of a dumbo.
He slurs words even when probably sober and his vocabulary is rudimentary.

Fatrick at least talks like someone who finished school. Of course when the subject matter on what he is talking about is analyzed, his lack of understanding and true in depth knowledge shines through.

It’s not uncommon to be like this, most below average people with some capacity for understanding how to sound smart can do it.

Unlike most low average people, he does demonstrate some serious ego problems and an OCD level of having to have the last word.

So yeah, midwit with disorders, through and through.

His 1.7 GPA includes his gym score. It's 1.2 otherwise.

Most IQ tests are pretty good nowadays, and give you a good rough estimate of the person's intelligence. Tested IQ correlates too well with things like academic achievement, career, ability to do certain things well etc. to not be an atleast decent measure of intelligence.

That doesn't mean that school losers have to be low-IQ however. Very High IQ individuals are school-losers reasonably often, because the system was not designed for them.
We do not know Pat's IQ, but you can estimate someones intelligence pretty well by how they talk, write, act, reason and if they have detailed knowledge in one ore several things.

Patrick has only surface knowledge on most topics, he is often wrong on topics he should specialize in as a sci-fi writer, he writes grammatically correct and has a decent vocabulary (most of the time, atalker), he is highly repetitive in his statements, he seldom has original thoughts, he seems to have little curiosity and no patience for any disagreement.

My highly professional diagnosis is therefore that Patrick has average Intelligence, maybe slightly above average.
He was probably either surrounded by people that were dumber than him as a kid, or was constantly told that he was special and gifted by his parents.
I assume his abysmal performance in High-School results in him being lazy, but not being able to still have decent grades with minimal effort because he was not intelligent enough for it.

In a couple of the interviews from his media blitz, Pat implied that his previous lawyers committed professional negligence. That they didn't inform him of the possibility that he'd be on the hook for Quasi's legal fees, and that they missed the chance to appeal or something like that.

Is there any chance that his law firm covered the bill? Like, having your client go to jail for contempt for not paying his troll's legal fees is a really bad look especially if you brand yourself as a "Victim's Rights Law Firm".

Pat's media blitz might've got them to pay in order to avoid the negative attention their firm would've gotten if he had actually been jailed.

EDIT: Not sure which firm was representing him at the time. I assumed it was C.A. Goldberg.
