Some Counterpoints:

First, Nick didn't defend free speech in his own locals group.

Second, Nick blocked PerceptionChek when the conversation wasn't going his way even after asking her to explain herself.

Third, Nick sounds like he's mad at Josh Moon since he's the only one Nick actually named.

Fourth, Nick called Null from the shower and during one of his livestreams to try and spin his narrative. Not exactly a humble suggestion. More like desperation.

Fifth, flip-flops between "being me" and "that wasn't the real me" when things don't work out and is a self-proclaimed grifter.

Sixth, Nick is exposing/embarrassing himself right now.

Seventh, Nick has no fixed principles, admitted he has changed over the years.

Finally, Nick is not good-natured.

The pedophile jokes are a red herring. The point of contention isn't Nick or Vito's right to free speech, it's to point out how Nick's principles exist solely out of the moment of convenience. There is no "free speech absolutism" you can attribute to Nick. His entire legal fight with Monty over the right to call him a pedophile, contrasted with his utter assblasting that people are clipping his own show whenever he boasts about his degenerate escapades, shows that Nick's beliefs on free speech don't extend past anybody but himself.

I've never trusted him in the slightest. He always seemed too arrogant and excessively optimistic about the #kickvic shit and figured he was clout chasing when he got chummy with that Ty Beard cumrag who turned out to be as incompetent as Nick when it comes to actually practicing fucking law.

All that arrogance and bloviating over an "easy win" destroyed in an instant by a clerical fuckup at Beard's practice (that a fucking first-year intern wouldn't have missed) that handed an incompetent, crotchety cunt of a judge the excuse he needed to toss the whole thing out in an appeal-resistant way.

"Hotshot" lawyers like this idiot are part of what makes legal practice harder (and its legitimate practitioners look worse). It's interesting that we don't hear anybody talk about Rekieta's (or Beard's for that matter) cases or clients, and whether or not they tend to win or lose their cases. Of course, we all know Beard lost at least one in spectacular fashion. Somehow I feel like Rekieta has more losses than wins on the books too.

He's presenting this like Vito is cracking edgy jokes and is being persecuted Lenny Bruce style. There is nothing to his jokes other than him bluntly saying that he's a pedophile. If he really is just trying to be an edgy troll, then fine, I don't think anyone should face legal repercussions like arrest for saying edgy shit. This is probably the best example of "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequence." Almost universally I find that phrase to be used in a very weaselly way, but here it's someone who says they are a pedophile in a serious way being treated like they are a pedophile and now they're getting upset about that.

Nick has this strategy of getting the other person to start the fight. Like all of his strategies, its totally obvious and doesn't tend to fool much of anyone.

In the clear, Nick just loves Eric July and his comic and everything he is doing.

But then you get clever Nick here saying that Nick is being punished and censored by CG, FNTs, the farms, Geeks & Gamers and who knows who all else because he refuses to support Eric July's comic.

He is calling Eric July "the biggest fucking pussy on the planet" and he is promising to somehow "expose" him for trying to punish and censor Nick.

And now he will turn around and cynically claim that he didn't say any of that. And if anyone tries to call him out, he will play the innocent victim. Nick has the social skills of a bad girlfriend and uses similar methods.

The bigger picture is clear to anyone with eyes:
I. This is about Nick, -don’t get lost in the detritus
II. Not about Drexel ( though the most important point on “the negra” as Nick calls him, is that Drex is a friend according to Nick, who then proceeded to dragging his friend Drex into shit that isn’t about him. Drex would not have been mentioned in relation to this shit if Nick didn’t use him for his weird op on Null.
III. Not about Kiwi Farms. “How can they keep getting away with it?!” -via Nick is weird, though it’s been coming for a while now. He’s not happy with his thread anymore so now he has no use for KF anymore. (Much free speech there Nick, to fall back on Troon defense when there’s any hint of something you don’t like on this site.)
IV. It’s not even about Vito beyond Dax being Vito’s butt buddy & Nick hanging along. That was a whole separate thing but Nick invited it in and brought a few extra guests.
V. Why the hell did Nick do this song & dance? This is where we are, to be determined. Perhaps in the next hot tub stroke stream after show, 8 drinks deep, gnawing on some meat & just nakedly chatting about things he’s def not mad about.
