No, because I don't think any will find him guilty.

This isn't really an optimism thing, more a "wow these are incompetently set up" thing. None of these cases have an iota of decent evidence for them, they are all slapped together without any real stuff backing. I honestly expected them to just make up evidence to reinforce their claims. I also expected them to climb down the rheotric and begin a tale of how they are successfully stopping the 'maga cult'.

Instead, they have to get by a jury, one which will be vetted for political leaning by the lawyers, meaning they absolutely will have a few wild card jurors. They will need to run those jurors through increasingly tortured logic while at the same time those jurors are fed line after line about how evil Orange man is, and how his followers are just waiting for a chance to violently usurp the government. With tales of how finding Trump guilty will mean riots in the streets.

Its just... bad setup. And the problem is that once it goes to the jury the ability of the Uniparty to put a thumb on the scales gets somewhat limited. So that along with their own narrative looming to bite them in the ass and make Jurys -Less- Likely to sentence him just makes me doubtful they will actually get any convictions.

For a party run by communists, it sure doesn't look like they learned anything about setting up proper show trials from the soviets'.

AZ: Tilt R--> Lean D: Lake is going to enter and she sucks. I also now believe that Sinema would drain votes evenly from the GOP and DEMs too. 0% chance Sinema wins, so I don't need special rating system for this state.

2. It's obvious Sinema is running now; so now AZ is Tilt R outright.
3. I don't use tossups but I cucked out last time for MT. I consider Trump being the GOP nominee bad news for the GOP which is enough to push me off the fence and give MT to Tester. I wasn't sure he would be able to take out DeSantis but other people entering the primary to siphon votes from him and the indictment against Trump should make him lose.

Overall rating: Lean R. GOP just has to win one of the Tilt states.

if you “weren’t sure Trump was going to take out DeSantis” then your ratings should be dismissed. DeSantis obviously sucks as a national candidate, he only succeeded in Florida thanks to the strength of the FL GOP machine and the weakness of the FL DEM machine. Trump presents the best chance the GOP has of winning 2024 due to his unique appeal to working class voters that other Republicans don’t have.The indictments will help him with nonwhite voters

You'd be amazed how much of his former goodwill with people up there Manchin burned when he supported the IRA and was visibly cozying up to Biden. WV has felt the pain of Bidens policies more than a lot of places and people feel that the only reason Manchin cares about the coal industry is so he can keep selling their coal off and then leave them hanging dry once he's pilfered enough.
Meanwhile people fucking love Jim Justice. He kept the state going during COVID better than a lot expected he would and his brand of theatrics made people warm up to him. WV has had a long trend of dem politicians but people are waking up and realizing the Democrat party of today isn't the same one their pops voted for as union miners - Justice himself used to be a Democrat and I think that is representative of how West Virginians overall feel.
Manchin has recently tried distancing himself more from Biden and puffing his chest out a bit more with that supposed presidential run contemplation, but people know a freshly washed sow will return to the mire.
