Anybody remember Wipeout Roblox?
WipeoutRoblox.jpg

It was based off a reality show where people were chosen to complete an obstacle course and the fastest won, and the whole event was put on Youtube with slick editing, commentary and all. But the part where it gets interesting is that only 24 people were chosen at random, and these competitions were only held once a month or so. You had to wait in the in-game lobby for several hours before it started in order to be eligible for the draft, and there were usually around 100-200 people waiting each time.
So when the draft ended, you'd have hundreds of preteens losing their shit because they weren't chosen and wasted their entire afternoon waiting.
The community became so infamous for this, that when the organizer, Xrman, stopped hosting the event, because he had real life to attend to. All the videos were privated because he didn't want to be associated with it.
I know there was a Dropbox archive back in the day, don't know where it is, and Xrman takes any of the few reuploads down from Youtube fairly quickly. But attached are some remnants I could find.

Roblox item traders doxxed a kid under the nickname @Avrybrdprsn because he received an exculisive item called "Dominus Azurelight". This item is given only through A Make-A-Wish Foundation to people battling cancer.

This is not the first time this has happened. On September 1, 2023, a different kid under the nickname "TheM1ndGamer" was the first person who got the same skin after beating cancer (Theo was the second one) and made a whole video talking about his story. In response, item traders doxxed him and sent death threats to him

Doxbin paste shown in the video
Video talking about the situation (Warning the creator is a massive commentary faggot)

So I'm going to acknowledge doxing kids with cancer sounds pretty bad right off the bat. Are the traders the Clueless Crusader types who think this guy hacked an exclusive skin for charity, or are they literally just assholes picking on cancer survivors, hoping to get the skin traded to them somehow?

Basically what
From what I gather it seems like they just assmad and think that kid didn’t deserve to get this rare skin
said, roblox traders, especially bigger ones, are all fucking greedy lunatics. They'll hack into one another's accounts, dox eachother in discord's and scam noob traders / eachother whenever possible, although they don't often have the chance since they all know they're scammers.
I'll bet that within the month someone will break into his account if he has any social media / contact methods since they'll often set up phishing sites. IIRC one guy had a big Google extension that he maintained and then burnt it for a bunch of logins.
Fucking rats

Dominus Frigidus will always be the best Make-A-Wish Domini.

I saw this and had to join out of morbid curiosity

Each server had 3 to 5 people running dressed as a gorilla or banana or something retarded like that yelling nigger or bible verses in chat or otherwise trolling. The game also had a feature where you could customize a pride flag using any decals uploaded to the site so there were people running around in full nazi regalia waving the Sonnenrad and even one guy who rigged some script to rapidly change the image id so he could play the Christchurch shooting footage on the flag (moderators have to manually approve every image uploaded to the site, so no clue how this happened).

There was a guy with catboy ears and a shirt that had an arrow pointing down that said "2 inches," a black guy with a six pack wearing nothing but a tie, and a handful of other weird avatars that. Not sure if it's groomers or really fucked up kids.

Of the 'normal' users actually playing the game as intended most of them were in the LGB categories and not the TQIA+ categories

Overall, this says a lot about the roblox community. I'm not sure what it says exactly, but it says a lot.

Talk about the most disturbing example of envy and greed. Cancer is a serious disease that has destroyed so many lives and in more extreme cases torn families apart. But apparently according to them. Cancer means nothing and they demand this kind of rare item that can be swept away in days by a security flaw. This is horrendously fucked up beyond belief. Thank fucking God I don't play this game anymore.

So thought you all would find this interesting:

This came from Roblox's most recent Developer's Conference. It just happened today.

It's four hours long, but the segment of note begins at 1:42:16.

For context, this comes from a series of 10 company goals for the next five years. The guy talking is Roblox's CEO David Baszucki.

When this point came up, the audience has an audible reaction of what can only be a mix of laughter and disgust. The CEO pretty much says, "Well, real life dating can be scary for young people so having simulated dating will make it easy for them uwu." He makes a point to not say the "d-word."

I would say I find this move shocking, but I really don't. This could just be a nothing burger, but one would figure these developers would have some sensibility about even discussing a feature like this when there has been a recent increase in public awareness about pedophiles on Roblox. It's weird how Roblox went from being advertised as general audience to kid friendly to back to general audience. Maybe they think the man children and pedos will give them more money?

Is it me or does anyone else feel like this is going to make Roblox's already existent pedophile problem a whole lot worse.

jesus christ, if they do put in safeguards to stop pedos from grooming kids, i'd be surprised.

I would kill to be a fly on the meeting room for this decision :story:. What were the reactions of the other board members when hearing this? I bet at least one of them immediately dropped their shares upon witnessing the massive retardation inside that room and one of the people them eating their own boogers and huffing their own farts.

Also, my boy, Ruben Sim will have a nice payday making a video about this. After trying to sue the guy for trolling and exposing degenerates in their game (some of which were staff members) the corp has the balls to make this :story:

OGs will remember when ODORs (Online Daters) were vastly hated and meme'd upon in the community.

We've come full circle, haven't we? Smh.
