I thought he was on some sort of family trip/vacation right now?
They have a yearly "Vacation Bible School" weekend. This was mentioned last year as well so it seems to be legit. Embarrassing behavior given the circumstances.
Which is why he's been on xitter so much this weekend! Gotta love that quality time spent ignoring the family.

George Carlin had a similar type joke; I may be off, but it went something like this. "Rape, can be funny... Imagine Elmer Fudd, raping Porky Pig."
That's not funny at all. I've never got the Carlin worship that people seem to go in for (not directed at you, @Kheapathic -- just talking about it in general.) Carlin is to Lenny Bruce as Denis Leary is to Bill Hicks. Thin, weak imitations of the real thing.

He did that 'hippie weatherman' skit for almost the whole of his career. It was piss poor. And the rest of his act was just typical elitie bourgeoisie looking down and sneering at those he felt were his intellectual inferiors because they disagreed with him politically.

So when you look at today's terrible US late night ups -- your Kinnels, your Colberts, your Trevor Noah's and your Fallons -- they all idolize Carlin, and see themselves as the bearers of his torch.

And they aren't wrong. because they do the same kind of sneering, not funny bullshit that Carlin used to do. Even his one definitive routine -- six words you can't say on TV (or however many it was) was just pedestrian and dull to anyone who wasn't a fucking moron. And that was head and shoulders above the rest of his material.

I like American stand-up comedy. Americans defined the genre and historically have dominated it, the best being head and shoulders above the rest of the world. But Carlin isn't fit to kiss the feet of people like Richard Prior, Sam Kiniston, Bill Hicks, Norm McDonald, etc. etc. etc.

I understand wanting to differentiate yourself from the average redditor, but Carlin wasn’t all THAT bad.

Nick jumped into the starfield pronouns drama and Lofti pulled a Nick on Nick lol

Well for starters, Lenny Bruce died, and Carlin lived. More people were exposed to Carlin in general just due to how pervasive her was. I also believe people were more primed to get behind Carlin's anti-authoritarian message considering the public's sentiment for the government thanks to the Vietnam war. In 1972 when he was arrested for those seven words, I think people had just fucking had it. Compare that to Lenny's career. I don't think people were ready for that "radical" thinking during the 50's and 60's. Yeah sure you had your hippies and limp dick counterculture during the 60's but, even back then many people saw hippies as disgusting aberrations.
I think honestly it was just right place at the right time.

In the end no matter how you may feel about how funny or unfunny one or the other was, both of them fought for the same cause against bullshit obscenity laws that honestly we take for granted every day we open our eyes. I can't speak for either of them, but I'm willing to bet they would both think each other were vital to the fight against nonsense obscenity laws. Bruce definitely set the foundation for Carlin to stand on though.

Fuck Dennis Leary though. He's the worst part of Demolition Man, and yes I'm putting that ahead of the scene where Stallone has VR not-sex with Sandra Bullock.

I personally grew up on Carlin and would say he greatly influenced my sense of humor. Comedy as a whole leans heavily into personal preference, and for me Carlin had all the stuff I loved from standup.
He gets all this worship because he came out with the right material at the right time and place, and he was very well spoken and could enrapture a crowd. I don’t believe he would be any good today as the world has changed so much even outside of comedy, and at the time it was conservatives pushing nonsense so that was his maternal. I personally prefer his bits on words and how people behave in funny ways, but again I grew up on him.
You are right however, Bill Hicks was the best lol.

The big thing with vito is that he is engaging with the same tactics that Nick and Dick decried years ago and we are supposed to see vito as the innocent victim. false flagging is cringe but anytime someone shits on him he goes "UHMMMM TWITTER TOS, LOOK AT THIS SHIT, NOT A GOOD LOOK IS IT?!?!?" I am 99% convinced that vito flagged josh and was the one who got him banned for this reason alone.

There is a vast gulf of difference between “my free speech is being attacked” and “I am entitled to a comfortable living for making jokes about pedophilia, and no one should be allowed to criticize me or draw unsavory conclusions about it.”

There is way more energy being directed at the politics of speech than there is denying he meant it.

Take note.

But what was Sam Kinison other than a fat suit cocaine liked to wear on stage?

That definitely made me laugh out loud. Kinison is definitely the weakest of his generation, And definitely far less influential than Carlin. But he had the advantage of actually making me laugh, rather than simply nodding my head in agreement.

Divorce attorneys are pretty expensive, he wants to make sure he gets the house, the dumb sportscar and the balldo collection.
But not the "goddamned kids." Those will go to Kayla.

Honestly, I dunno if we're looking at a divorce saga, but Nick seems really self-destructive lately, so I wouldn't rule it out.

No I'm not. .st was down at the exact time the Washington Post had a hit piece on us, and remained down for a couple hours. At least for me.
I can confirm this. I'm betting we got hit with brief(ish) DDoS.

I am 99% convinced that vito flagged josh and was the one who got him banned for this reason alone.
Oh, I'd put money on it! Null was tagging Dick and Vito in tweets. One of them did it, and while Dick is a faggot, Vito already has the reputation of being a faggot and a flaggot.

There is a vast gulf of difference between “my free speech is being attacked” and “I am entitled to a comfortable living for making jokes about pedophilia, and no one should be allowed to criticize me or draw unsavory conclusions about it.”
The actual difference, in the context of the current situation, is this:

KF's psycho critics want the site shut down permanently. They want NO speech or counter-speech emanating from this corner of the Internet. At all. Period.

Meanwhile, KF wants to just shit on Vito, Dick, Nick, and Drex, while otherwise leaving them unmolested to say what they want.

They are two completely different things.

Nick is trying to make himself the virtuous free speech defender from this situation, but he refuses to acknowledge that the site at large isn't trying to shut down Vito. Vito can be a pedophile defending faggot all he wants off-site. He's entitled to as much free speech as he can manage to get from various platforms, but he's not entitled to being immune to criticism here. KF isn't about killing the cow. Nick has been following this site since at least 2019, and he should know that. I blame drugs, alcohol, and Dick for his intellectual dishonesty.

Looks like the VBS thing he's doing with his family will end with enough time to go talk about his favorite person, Trump, on someone else's channel. It's odd so many non-laywers, and one lawyer who doesn't even have a channel about the law, are going to opine on the legality of Trump running again.

If we're talking about Drexel (fuck your government name, nigger); "I knew this girl at 13, and sexually dommed her for her own safety when she was of age" is pretty fucking clear what happened. You just had to look out for the best interests of this girl (you fucking simp) to make sure she isn't taken advantage of, and it just so happens that looking out for her means sticking your dick in her. There's also that story you tell of meeting her boyfriend and having to alpha over him... you started shit and got them to break up, didn't you. What a fucking gentleman.
This was something you'd often see on To Catch a Predator. Guys would show up with a pocket full of condoms and when confronted would explain how they were there to teach them a lesson about the dangers of talking to strangers on the internet. If they didn't send those pictures and invite themselves over, who knows what kind of creep could get their hands on that young girl/boy.

If Kayla sobers up and realizes what situation she finds herself and her kids in, we might get action of the divorce front, imo. I wouldn't bet on it, though.
