Super weird. Under scrutiny that blue "eye" in front is either a very very strange addition or actually another entirely unrelated accessory.
It’s probably a crystal. Chris used to dangle New Agey glass shards off the medallion chain, makes sense for him to try and integrate them into the medallion proper.

The only difference from before jail is that he's cleaner now. Clean shaven, fresh dye for his nasty pelt, other than that, nothing. He's the happiest and healthiest he's been in years. Fucking his mother was the best decision he ever made.
It strangely was. Chris couldn't burn his tugboat on toys for a couple years, he finally gets to live away from Barb, and got a new lease on life that he's probably already wasted.

I believe that's the back of the medallion, it probably flipped over while Chris moved his weight around to take the selfie. The marble thing should be his "mega stone" (it's a thing from the Pokemon games that lets some pokemon evolve further and Chris used it in his comic to become even more OP).

Upon checking the wiki, the mega stone appeared in 2017 circa as painting first

Anyone familiar with pre trail prisons know if he might have actually been allowed to take the medallion with him during his time in? I know you aren't allowed to bring real jewelry like artifacts made of precious metals or gems, but could he have argued it was a religious totem to keep it and thus allow it to collect more grime and filth during his internment?
