What would this even affect, really? I believe a lot of studios don't shy away from just using non-union VA and I remember reading that a bunch of union VAs work under aliases for non-union jobs; how that's not a violation of the union terms is beyond me, but it seems to be that the union was always toothless and the picket line will be crossed one way or another.

Then again, the theater prices and usual old man problems have resulted in these people becoming the declining demographic of the past.

The problem is the Hollywood Elite has spent more than 5 years calling the lifelong capeshit consumers every vile name in the book. Accusing them of heinous things with no basis in reality to cover for their own failings as artists. "When your product sucks blame your most loyal customers" is the new Marketing Mantea. And the lifelong dedicated consumers of this stuff finally reached their breaking point, and simply walked away. They were the easiest audience to keep and to please. All they had to do was deliver some classic testosterone laden action and adventure, instead of a nonstop barrage of feminist and lgbtq gender studies talking points. The lifelong capeshit and Star Wars and Star Trek fans funally grew sick of arguing and reached the point if indifference. They just stopped giving these companies money.

Surprisingly consumers do not care about pedowood and game industry strike, neither do I. I want to see it all burn and the retards are killing their own industry.

This is comparable to video game crash of 86, however it's self inflected at this point. Push every big studio to strike and watch it all collapse.

entertainment industry has been same shit over two decades, anything resembling quality gets these leeches screeching. Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur's Gate 3 to name two.

Pedowood are agenda driven garbage, reboots galore and monopolies on top of it. I am confident that Kiwifarms regulars aren't missing anything.

That crash was self-inflicted, too, due to intense oversaturation of low-quality products. The difference is that, in ‘83, vidya was a burgeoning market with a lot to prove… whereas Hollywood is a time-honored machine that’s been chugging along spectacularly for over a century now. If this truly does lead to its collapse, I don’t think the fallout will be even remotely comparable, and it’s really interesting as a result.

Meh, the death of Hollywood just means the rise of other markets and their goods in America. So we get people talking about Bollywood and Anime and Korean movies and Telenovelas and everyone finds their own cosmopolitan niche of entertainment just like with Youtube. We shouldn't have been worshipping celebrities like we have for the past 50 years anyways.

Pedowood and vidya game industry has been shitting out the same products year after year Marvel and DC are exact same despite being two different companies. Vidya game industry shovels exact same games with microtransacations, predatory and anti consumer policies now that biggest players Activision as Before that the way it will.
