This is actually a fair fucking point.

I used to think it was /culturally passed down from all the religious nutcases in Europe getting chased out and over to there/epigenetic .. But maybe it's straight up genetic too.

The genetic connection is somewhat dubious, but it's absolutely at least significantly cultural, and what really established that culture is the first amendment and the religious tolerance it guarantees.

Anyone with some flavor of goofy cult is highly incentivized to set up shop in the US.

There's a reason why Scientology, Mormonism, Rajneeshpuram, Teal Swan, Black Hebrew Israelites, the Nation of Islam and so on and so forth either originated in the US or went to the US and blossomed.

We just love our religion here, I guess.

It predates America and part of why those things developed, the colonies were a great place to dump or encourage minority religions or sects to emigrate to. When the Massachusetts Bay Colony established a specific religion and set about banishing religious dissenters they established "Rogue" Island to the South.

I think Kevin's consoooom is getting to me. I'm feeling a little sick, in addition to the sickness from the Zoomer posting. I might have turned into a plastic doll ("action figure") myself.

I was hoping the Zoomer joke was all trans people either end up fat, lazy, or disabled and everyone rode scooty puffs. If you're confused on Zoomer age cutoffs like I was, refer below. Note, gen alpha usually starts at 2010 at a "fully digital age", so subtract those. Still WAY too many childrens.

The consoom has been getting to me for the entire time - I realised I find it un nessecary that we keep every picture he posts, cos it's just so many... But like, he lives among that shit!
The sheer amount of it grosses me out just seeing it here. It engenders a feeling kinda like I've only eaten sweets and drank coke the whole day or soemthing, just totally over saturated by crap.
