On the 3rd of May,2023, Serbia suffered its first school shooting.
Shooter is a 7th grade elementary school student, 13 y/o Kosta Kecmanovic.He entered his school armed with a pistol(i couldnt find anywhere which model he was using), 5 clips and one or more Molotov's cocktails.He killed 8 students and a school guard.I am not sure how many were injured, i think 6 children and a teacher.First info said that teacher was also killed, but most details are kept from leaking by the police so im not sure.He fired over 50 rounds.
When he was done, he said he felt fear, panic and started breathing strangely so he thought the right thing to do is to call the police and turn himself in, stating that he is a "psychopath that needs to calm down"(i am not sure if i appropriately translated the phrase, but the gist of it is there).
This is the first event of this kind that ever happened in Serbia, altho there were mass-murders before, but none like this.
Kid showed quite a proficiency in using a gun, idk if he went to shooting range with his father and gained some skill there or what.
Ofc, one of the first things that were condemned by soulless politicians and other social grifters were western values, video games,tik-tok, celebrating halloween and similar brain-dead reasonings.
The shooter himself said, after surrendering to the police, that he was ignored by everyone, outed from communications, social interactions and everything normal that a kid should have/experience.
Being 13 years old, i think that he will not have legal responsibilities or suffer legal consequences-when it comes to murder, the law applies from 14 y/o and up.I am speculating that most of the blame will fall on his father, probably for something like negligent safe-keeping of weapons.Anyway, that is yet to be seen/heard.
Very, very sad, dark and strange day for this country, I wish to those who lost their lives that their souls find peace.

Sort of. Brazil, Russia, China, India, and South Africa have agreed to a new standard. Other countries are jumping in. Only time will tell whether this is a legit thing.

Either way I don’t care that much.
