Greta Gustava Martela / Kjel Anderson & Nina Chaubal / Niraj Chaubal - Stole $350k+ from Trans Lifeline, kill count of 2+ from negligence, Founders of Sisterwood/La Zorra.

So basically to hide their shame they hid behind a log-in. Greta has the gumption to roll up on some dude unexpected but when faced with fact turtles like Claude Lemieux under Darren McCarty. lol what a punk. Please just get out of this "charity" and let people who know what they are doing save lives. Just think if Leelah Alcorn would have called the Trevor Lifeline. Imposing irrational fears of cops and first responders and the like on people is pretty dangerous and I really don't know how Greta figures that people who call a suicide prevention line are generally sound enough to decide whether emergency services should be contacted and I really do not understand how Greta concludes that they know what is right for people when they had such little experience with suicide lines to begin with. Fucking coming in and saying "AAS you're doing it wrong I know better". What an idiot.
They didn't just hide behind a log-in, they pretty much made their only base of operation (because realistically, nobody uses a phone book anymore) completely inaccessible to normies. If you're a suicidal troon and you see this, you're probably thinking "This site is broken, it doesn't exist anymore. Fml, I'm just gonna end it all". Nobody should be forced to make a fucking account to see your hours of operation and mission statement.

Would somebody in Greta's chain of command fucking fire her already? She's seriously getting worse.

These hours are shit. Do people arrange their suicidal despairs around the social schedules and stalking activities of Greta? Apparently. There's cameras to jump in front of, come back and kill yourself later.
If you do the math on the schedule, it is 47% of the time they are staffed, so they have a 13% gap of non-service. And when they do have someone staffed, they are probably talking to Buffalo Bill about vidya or ADF about cheese and ginger roots. Who even knows what their real numbers are, they're telling people they had taken over 20k calls since opening back last June, then its 18k since opening this month.

It really doesn't take much to know that literally impossible numbers are faked. Both of them can't be true, one is made up. More likely, they're both total lies.

Minor power level here. Stats are the lifeblood of non-profits. Without them, you don't get grants. They need to be detailed, too.

TLL should be recording as much non-identifying information about their callers as possible. Obviously you don't fire a ton of survey questions at the beginning of a call, but towards the end of the call many people will be willing to give you their age, location, etc.

When you claim to be a national service, it's important to be able to identify specific factors which influence service need. A high number of calls from particular locations might be your impetus for contacting existing organisations in those areas to work on ways they can better service the locals. Your goal isn't just to expand your own organisation, it's also to work with existing organisations to identify gaps and determine how they can best be filled so everyone isn't just reinventing the wheel and offering more of the same.

You can't truly service the needs of your target group if you're obsessed with proving that you're "better" than other non-profits.

At the advice of a decades-strong veteran in the world of charities, I'm preparing a legal complaint for an office more likely to respond than the IRS, since they apparently have a huge backlog of complaints that they never work through.

I'm going to fire a Greta War Room PM to avoid leaking details (since Greta's made it very clear he lurks this thread and reacts to shut down efforts to expose his scam). If you want access and have a reason to need access (i.e. you have done digging), PM me.

If Greta keeps removing shit from the TLL website, all that will be left soon is a landing page.

Well they don't want the cis scum to know what they're up to or they'll be violently deadnamed and misgendered. Which is a fate worse than death.

Well, I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why she walk like a woman and talk like a man
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola

DUDE LOOKS LIKE A LADY!!!!!

Nice job.

Just for the comparative purposes, I spent this morning writing a legit availability monitoring script.
The plan was to let it run via cron every 15 minutes for a week or so. Gather the data. Feed that thing to statistics package and get nice statistical summaries and graphs and APA format citations and all the bells and whistles you can expect from a scholarly treatise.
NOT fun to find out that the page goes down when I'm literally in middle of writing this thing.
Ffffffffffffffffffffffffffff
Guess you managed to scare them.

Already had it written. I had no idea they'd shit themselves like this.

The fact that she reacted to criticism of lack of available operators by shutting down the info page rather than, idk, trying to recruit more volunteers is shady as fuck. Something's fucky.

Yeah. One more motive to afirm that Greta doesn't give a fuck about anyone, his number one priority is to maintain his shady business to gather more and more money, and sit his fat ass on a plane.

"omg, they KNOW! What do I do? Better myself and start a decent business? No that will cost money and time. I know, ill hide info from them! That will do the trick."

Come to think of it, the number of available volunteers isn't even an excellent overall metric of how well the service works - it just represents how high their head is above water to handle immediately upcoming calls (and with these numbers, the answer is a resounding "not much at all"). Basically, it doesn't give you the total length of the rope, just how much slack it has at any given time. You can't deduce too much from it, aside of comparing to the statistics they've already published and see that something not-so-funny is going on.

They could be saying that this limited information isn't productive. A much more mature response from them would have been to provide more information about their actual daily operations, as everyone keeps saying - they could go "hey, don't be alarmed, our crap software may report we only have 2 volunteers available, but that's only because it we have, like, 200 phone lines busy responding to people at any given moment". (...that figure is strictly for an example and might not represent reality. To put it mildly.)

But the fact that they'll make this particular figure completely unavailable makes me think that this isn't about inadequacy of their software. Goodness gracious, it might be reporting the availability correctly. And some people - not naming any names - are worried that this limited but correct information isn't painting a good picture.

Maybe the answer to that isn't to make the limited information even more limited. Maybe the answer is to fix the underlying organisational issues.
