Most of what he has discussed has not been rocket science as law goes, though, stuff like the standard for summary judgment or cases largely decided on their factual history.

That he was able to do that coherently and be entertaining at the same time (a major weakness for a lot of law commentators who are dull as dishwater) was really the main thing he brought to the game. I think that incident has become somewhat relevant again. Not because it shows Nick trying to ambush somebody (it doesn't), but rather because it shows what a shit judge of character Dick is, and how his influence over Rekieta could cause all sorts of problems.

Based on what he told me during a phone conversation I had with Nick after that stream, I think Gator helped drive the point through Nick's thick skull.
