"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

HOW THE FUCK CAN YOU CALL THIS MAJESTIC BEAST UGLY?!?!?!
"Majesty"

Then, once the precedent is established they will apply the same legal authority to the things they ACTUALLY want to to go after. And like fucking roaches the loli porn makers will crawl back into the light and Visa/Master Card won't give a shit. Because they have the precedent they want. Which includes the absolute right to exercise their "private discretion".
They already tried with Operation Chokepoint. The DOJ tried to pressure banks into ceasing doing business with pornographers and escort services... but also accounts associated with firearms, ammunition, coins, and racist materials. Looks like they are taking things a bit more slowly this time, and like you said, using pornography to set a precedent.

On the Poodle Question, they are wonderful dogs warped and twisted by idiot French for aesthetic purposes, ruined further by the fucking American Kennel Club that I swear is a conspiracy to make all European standard dogs as dysgenic as possible.

Standard French Poodles are amazing Doggos who are athletic, easily trained and can be taken out inna woods to hunt everything from Duck to Deer. Far superior to other hunting dogs of the German variety. Looking at you short haired pointers. The Poodle is actually the perfect hunting dog because it has that perfect balance of aggression, obedience and killer instinct.

And what did the American Kennel Club do with these majestic beasts? They decided to cross them with random shit. Turn them into mutts, and breed them to be paraded around a Football stadium for show.

There is an Irony in the story here. An irony so fucking hard I can feel it.

I like the Chinese AI section. And by like I mean it made me mad.

We could easily beat China in AI by not regulating the technology, as they doubtless will overregulate the hell out of it (they’re in a slump because their politics has become increasingly anti-market).

Reactions: Rei is Shit.
It's legal for niggers to murder humans in the US and the ruling caste of Kikes and eunochs is now handing out life sentences like candy to their political enemies, not even bothering with the illusion of legitimacy anymore. It's my duty as and Englishman to mention this as a counterpoint to Josh's latest seething re the British. Don't fall for his lies kiwibros, his precious exceptional US freedoms legally guaranteed by muh constitution and muh bill of rights don't mean shit, it's just more globohomo propaganda.

If you read the RAND report, it is quite measured in its recommendations. Most of them are boring stuff like "find better ways to detect AI generated content" and "train DoD staff on how to avoid being tricked by AI-generated content". There are some predictable talking points like floating a Real ID system for social media accounts, but we effectively have that already for many platforms. If Facebook thinks your account is suspicious, they will demand a driver's license photo. Other platforms like Twitter will demand a non-VOIP phone number, which significantly increases the cost and difficulty of making inauthentic accounts.

Also, Null skimmed it and focused in on the part where it said "munitions", but they aren't talking about Crypto Wars 2.0. That section discusses negotiating with other countries about uses of generative AI the same way we do with other weapons (eg. cluster munitions, nukes, etc). There was a similar push maybe 5-10 years ago to negotiate rules for hacking and cyber stuff, which predictably went nowhere. That one felt thrown in there just because it's inoffensive and an excuse for politicians to have meetings.

Lastly, the United States could consider the potential of arms control for social media manipulation–related capabilities (especially, generative AI, as described in this Perspective). While arms control in general is facing headwinds amid severe downturns in relations with China and Russia, especially given the fraught recent history of nuclear arms control and failed attempts at cyber arms control, the prospects of a highly destructive offensive-favoring but unregulated new capability (generative AI) may make the topic worthy of consideration. In fact, China and Russia have historically favored, at least in public statements, arms control for what they call “information weapons.”42 If nothing else, some of the low-hanging fruit from the arms control process, such as confidence-building measures, may be worthy of further research and policy consideration.

@Null on the topic of Maddox and laughing at his own/his cohosts jokes: the best example of that - and the one that made Dick remark that tries not to laugh at his own jokes - was his Godzilla podcast with some girl called Hayley. She had the most insufferable laugh and Maddox would've laughed to because he wanted to fuck her. It was part of a crossover with Karl from Who are these Podcasts: https://open.spotify.com/episode/0k68kTRoeiLqyEePwJ6TMm?si=6uTQ5T-jRhKqctGnEqk0GQ&t=969
But in retrospect, it's a lot worse now with Dick and it's probably an insecurity or narcissism thing
