Philosophy in the top 20 seems a sharp contrast given where similar courses are.
So you would think, but most Philosophy departments in the English-speaking world are dominated by scholars of the Analytical Philosophical stream of thought (i.e. a heavy focus on logic, and reasoning methods drawn from mathematics and linguistics). This is in contrast to the Continental School with its various permutations and off-shoots of Hegelianism, including those famous Existentialists, Post-Structuralists and various what-have-yous.

In any graduate course of Philosophy, you're going to working from the methods and ideas of Bertrand Russell and Ludwig Wittgenstein, and if you have any doubts that it ain't a big-brained endeavor, read the "Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus" and tell me what the fuck Wittgenstein is hammering on about, because I can't get much into it without going into the weeds immediately. Granted, this method and style is something of a shibboleth, an invitation to rhetorical dick-measuring contests via seminars and academic papers, but it's one where you can't really bullshit it. The Continental stream, however, they revel in figuring out new and exciting forms of bullshit and in the case of some like Foucault and the guys at the Frankfurt School, infecting society with it.

The Pale of Settlement areas are ground zero for human trafficking, organ trafficking, smuggling, corruption, and is poor as shit due to hundreds of years of usury. The only difference is some countries have started resisting it (Russia, Belarus) and some continue to embrace it (Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania).
As French investigators hunt for Jean-Luc Brunel, and as his MC2 agency sells off assets, former employees and models say he’s linked to new agencies in New York City and Ukraine.

Jean-Luc Brunel, the former model scout who's been accused o ..

Guess we'll never know 🤷

Has this been posted here? The Fifth Circuit upheld (partly) the gov censorship ban of Missouri v Biden. The matter is expected to go to SCOTUS:
I''ve read elsewhere that this decision is all over the fucking place and is a a mix of bad and good, at some point I'd like to read through it and see why but ultimately I know its such a hot potato that its going to SCOTUS so there really is no point.

I'm sure there will be zero consequences for anyone in DC for overtly violating our fundamental constitutional rights, while young men will spend the next two decades in federal prison for peacefully letting cops give them a guided tour through the US Capitol. I'll care about this decision when a politician involved is sentenced by a court to hanging.

Trying to keep it legal for further use later while pretending to protect people.
They specifically called this out as illegal and issued its own injuction to stop it.

This is on page 71. As far as I'm concerned, 5th circuit issuing this is a massive win. Though, I am annoyed that "NIAID Officials, CISA Officials, and State Department Officials" are excluded for now. Still a massive list of people affected.

Haven't had the time to read full 74 pages yet, but should be interesting.

How could physics (in general) top all the specific kinds of physics?
It's kinda fucky the way they did it, but they're doing that to represent the "overall IQ" of the various specific physics fields + the number of people into specialties like astrophysics etc. So if you have a bunch of specific fields that all range in IQ from say 140-150 and all their fields fall under one umbrella it makes sense that umbrella field would be reflective of all the best of what the specialties had to offer.

Kinda sad to see the state of psychology tbh. For all the shit it gets, that field at one time had some serious people working within it, and its a very necessary field because of the myriad of ways things can get fucked up in the brain that don't show up on scans.
The commies focused on psychology early and it has been a dying study for years though, used as a weapon by malignant actors in society, due to the flexible nature of mental diagnoses. And now as a field it is overrun with shrieking white liberal women and fat nigger women who openly and maliciously use it to their own ends or stupidly pass advice they saw on The View as legitimate mental health advice. Makes my fucking blood boil.

Freelance work sometimes means you get very familiar with your temporary employer.
I've always assumed that most of the older congress members are about as bad off as Mitch. These people are way past their expiration date and even just hobbling into congress everyday would put a strain on them.

It really is bewildering why they refuse to just retire. Surely living your twilight years in peace would be better than clinging on to a job.

For normal people, yes it would be. For the Congress-Creature, no it isn't. Their wizened little hearts only function on a desire for power and control, retiring means giving that up.

Meanwhile, hypothetical matchups also suggest there would be no clear leader should Biden face one of the other major GOP contenders, with one notable exception: Biden runs behind former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.
Looks like the broad Pajeet might be the new Uniparty-anointed one.

But this guy can't have a lot longer.
They'll weekend at bernie's this motherfucker with AI and Deep Fakes. I'm not sure why the allow Biden to have public appearances anymore. I know its expected of the president and if you don't, people will start asking questions.

In the end, this is a nightmare of the left's own design.
