The Minecraft mods can't keep getting away with this.

On the topic of malicious mods, computers should really allow people to segregate programs entirely, but they don't because computing is still stuck in the 1970s. The only ways to be safe are auditing everything, or using computers not used for anything else. Nonsense such as this is why I prefer video game consoles at this point. It's just not worth it.

It's like they perverted the wholesome, natural, patriarchal relationship between a man and a woman into this.
Maybe I'm just rambling, but "her soul is bound", isn't the idea of a woman being "bound to a man" provided by marriage? It's like they are looking for that (because it's natural), but in the wrong place.

I think it's a tragedy.

I took the liberty of archiving the tweets and Twitter account as I noticed none of them were archived. You should remember that people on the Internet may delete everything at any moment to hide evidence if something is found out about them or they feel it necessary.
(The fap craft webpage was already archived by someone else but I'll include the link anyway)

As much as I appreciate the documentation you provided it is imperative to archive anything you document especially before posting it as merely making a post or thread about it on kiwifarms may be the trigger for deletion.

For instance the schnu apology video link is already dead because it was deemed by google to violate their tos. So that's one piece of this puzzle already missing.

They claimed they hashed the list, but that won't help if Mojang has a list of player uuids (which I'm 99% sure they have). Classic example of not understanding how cryptography works.

I may be a filthy degenerate but I really don't see the leap of logic between "I want to masturbate" and "Let's add sex mechanics into a children's videogame". I'm honestly surprised anyone involved in this is coherent enough to even download and install the mod instead of being perpetually aroused and distracted by the corners of their room.

Ok so that's what salting is for, you salt the uuid with random crap generated at runtime to avoid giving mojang (anyone) an instant way to look up if some user UID is in the hash set. If they manage to get their hands on the set of hashes etc that is.

Now, what is concerning is that it's a (from what I read) obfuscated Java goodness running over always-online DRM that requires you to self-dox to jerk off to voxels. So, in principle, there is nothing stopping them from literally fucking your PC and then blackmailing the shit out of users (and they probably can tie your account to you IRL).
