Two random thoughts I've had recently. 1) It's amazingly pathetic to me that a grown man can sit there and be reduced to posting bunny and tortoise emojis as part of some crude puns ("gays hops" instead of "gay ops", "tortoise" instead of "tortious" interface) in order to "own" someone.
2) On the topic of defending Cities, Dick repeatedly defends it by saying "actually, the movie is meant to be criticising sexual exploitation of children and child twerking shows." I never watched Cuties, but I know that was a point that got brought up repeatedly by people trying to defend it and act like it wasn't CP (when it could easily countered with the argument that you could still make a movie about child dance shows being pedophilic sexual exploitation/abuse without outright showing up close shots of children's genitals). But it seems Dax wants to have it both ways; he wants to defend Cuties as actually being a brave anti-pedophilia because you're meant to feel disgusted when you see children in compromising positions, but he'll simultaneously prop up Mr. Girl, who believes the exact opposite: that the point of the movie is that you are supposed to be attracted to the children and being sexualised is meant to be the movie making you feel uncomfortable for getting aroused. Idk if this is under the guise of "free speech" or what; that Mr Girl should be allowed to say a totally inappropriate opinion about something and say something universally repulsive, but "pedophiles are people too!"
