It's a coordinated campaign to import hundreds of thousands of foreign workers in the next few years, and it's a minor scandal right now with government officials accused of taking bribes to sign off on visas. Apparently Indians were willing to pay $5k/piece just to get a visa spot. You think they're paying $5k to deliver Uber for a year and go back home to shit in the street?

The conservative government is responsible for the policy making, it doesn't mean they approve of their ministers being caught accepting bribes to exploit it. You really need this explained to you?

Idk, I feel obligated to support Ukraine because we coaxed them into nuclear disarmament, we’ve been involved in their domestic turmoil playing tug of war with Russia, and I wanted to believe that Russia was a basically OK place that we were on the wrong side of, because what Gorbachev did in PEACEFULLY dissolving the Soviet Union was something absolutely amazing from my childhood, like the type of humanitarian moment that could trick you into thinking everything was going to be alright after all.

So yeah, I could write off the shit with Georgia, even the 2014 shit in Ukraine. But a full ass invasion of a neighbor in Europe, coming on the heels of their declaration of bromance with China, that tore it.

Even with all of that, seeing a tranny representing Ukrainian citizens stokes the part of me that thinks “America is too toxic to be good for anyone right now. We should leave people alone.”

I just think that we’ve fucked around with Ukraine long enough that we owe them to see them through this, and we shouldn’t have tranny strings tied to our help.

Yeah, but it's a cool stage to watch Russian military tech show, once again, it's garbage.

It was fun to see it completely helpless in the first Gulf War. It was fun watching it accomplish nothing while being systematically erased from this earth when Wagner attacked a US post in Syria, it's fun here, especially seeing Russian air defenses not being able to effectively stop radio shack tier drones on a several hundred mile flight over to Moscow.
