If there's anything that adds to the believability of him SWATing himself it's this.
People were predicting that the SWATs would drop off after the court hearng and they have, its looking like the guys who said he was doing it to try and farm sympathy from the media and the court were right.

If Pat could control his emotions or impulses he would have dealt with the authorities politely and calmly from day one. In which case tensions with the cops would never have escalated. In which case the police might have started clearing the SWAT dispatches with a quick phone call over a year ago.

I think the police know he is not mentally well and that is why they continue to respond to calls to his home, his criminal record.

He was put on an NCIC list after the first one (recorded by his neighbor). This means any time he is pulled over, backup will be called, police will be much more cautious/more likely to use force, and he is likely to be denied any time he tries to purchase firearms.

Whipping out the camera phone I've seen more often with blacks and cop interactions but ones mileage will vary. Thankfully we have this recording ability everywhere so we get what Sherelle Smith said VS what the news put forward.


Cops interact with people at their worse. And that clouds their vision that everyone sucks. And newer training is everyone is trying to do you harm and your 1st job is to keep yourself safe.

Patrick should be in District 5. That includes the poverty that surrounds the district station on Martin Luther King Drive. The same road that has juneteeth riots/shootings on. While google shows a riot/shootings for 2023 deeper digger should show violence on MLK drive is common and goes back to a riot from 1967 that still has not been recovered from.

Because the number of poor blacks in district 5 going to Patrick's home is a low risk dispatch VS other places you can be. Patrick is in the property record as an owner of property so another factor to WANT to be dispatched there as the interaction will be with a person who has more to lose than other calls that could be going on.

Patrick thinking there is a pay day with bad cop interactions is nuts given the qualified immunity and what interactions that have been posted with him being belligerent to the cops. With him being a home owner and other signs of him not being poor the cops are not going to approach him over reacting enough to warrant a successful lawsuit. And given how his interaction with the courts has him paying Quasi I'd guess his appetite to try a lawsuit is diminished.

I know Court TV is kind of gimmicky but it's still a fucking Judge I can't imagine what would posses someone to talk to a Judge like that and expect that you'll get a judgement in your favor, he's just alienating the person who he needs to win over if he hopes to win his case.

With my preferred sci fi authors mostly aging out, slowing down, or going insane, I really did need to start adding some new authors to my reading list, and I think Lori may be a good start.
