"Spoonie", "haven't got the spoons" and all that other crap relating to chronic illness. I don't doubt at least some of the people who use it are legitimately sick, but it's become a favourite of basic white women who want to earn those oppression points somehow. And conveniently it fits in with the "uwu so random and quirky" vibe that's trendy at the moment.

Every time I post here, it's because just when I've almost forgotten about a particular buzzword, all of a sudden it gets mentioned somewhere and I'm reminded once again of how much of a clown world it's become.

The most tediously attention-seeking of basic white women. The backstory/ explanation of the term is just a ridiculously long-winded way to say "I have limited energy and have to manage it by carefully rationing what I do." You can express it in one easy to understand sentence but spoonies choose to waste your time by telling you a fucking story about spoons.
On the plus side, it's an early-warning sign that someone's a tedious cunt, I suppose.

This, and they also have this irritating habit of making their diagnosis (self or otherwise) their entire personality and seek out echo chambers with other "spoonies". Oh mai gawd, I like, can't get out of bed y'all, I'm soooooo chronically ill, but still #slaying 💅 #spoonielife and it's a selfie with a full face of makeup bought with the money they grifted.

When lots of actual people with debilitating medical conditions just get on with their lives, have jobs & families, and try to be normal productive members of society. Some are able to hide it fairly easily. It's exactly the same as the "neurodivergent" community vs. people with autism, ADHD etc. who don't get involved in that nonsense.

I hate how "problematic" has become a political term. It was a perfectly fine word before. Now any time you use it, people think of the political/SJW context.

"This shelter has been able to rehabilitate and adopt-out several problematic rescues within the past month" is a weird sentence now.

It also allows people to pigeonhole and discard a wide array of opinions/subjects without discussing them or their validity directly. A single word that serves as a mental blockade against things one doesn’t like.

"problematic"
Yet another SJW "gaslighting" tactic I've seen is the claim that "woke" is nebulously defined.

In reality, it's clear it's BS like "microaggressions", "cultural appropriation", "equity", and those other Current Year buzzwords SJWs like overusing. It's a Cult of Progress that wasn't mainstream before Current Year. It's the fixation on "transgender", race, and the overthinking of social interactions. It's "political correctness" taken to a crazy and cult-like level. It's wannabe communism. It's what drives Clown World, where more and more becomes "problematic" as Current Year drags on and on.

I take solace knowing every latino I've ever met hates "latinx" and makes fun of it whenever it comes up. Talked with a Mexican guy at an event recently who said it sounds like the name of a gay night club on the border of the US and Mexico. Cracked our asses up. I just love it when normies think for themselves for once, and when non-whites don't put up with this silly bullshit.

"Latine" is almost as annoying. Saw it recently in the headline of a Buzzfeed article (then again I wouldn't expect anything else from them). It's bad enough seeing this nonsense get added to the English dictionary, but in a language with grammatical gender there's no way it'll ever work.

“Unalive” and “delete oneself” because just saying dead or suicide is apparently too scary.

I kinda get deleted yourself if it’s in some video trying to bypass YouTube’s retarded filter, still stupid but at least I can understand why it would be used. Unalive just sounds like straight up Orwellian Newspeak
I kind of agree, but I get a bit of a laugh every time I hear "minecrafted"

Latine only exists because Latinx gets derided by every Latino I know, except for white girls who will have a last name like Rodriguez and want to show their solidarity with the latinks. So now it’s latrine until that gets derided and white women will try to find another term. They screech at the idea of gendered language, even though that’s millennia of cultural erasure but that does not seem to matter.

"All art is political" and "vidya was always political" BS is clearly projection by "oversocialized" SJWs obsessed with "community".
It's as idiotic as "all art is anime" from an anime nerd. "All music is rap." "All food is steak." All equally mindless and baseless assertions coming from a position of stupidity.

Wilde's was better. "All art is quite useless."
