Overall, what we should examine is who is behind Gong Show (And previously Keffals) and what allies did he have.

I've wondered about the funding aspects, myself. We're talking multiple millions of dollars here and God knows how many labor hours. I would guess some of Fong-Jones' allies are extremely well-connected in far-Left political circles, and there's rivers of dark money flowing out there--Soros money, Gates money, Omidyar money, fucking China money... At a certain point, they'll turn the spigot off because even hardcore ideologues want an eventual return on investment.

The best thing about Josh taking this to court is the prospect of discovery. For a number of reasons, I strongly doubt Fong-Jones and his shadowy allies want that.

He doesn't have to have any of those. He relies heavily on emotional and reputational blackmail.

"Reputational risk" is the name of his game in business parlance. Tech companies aren't exactly willing to stick their necks out for our humble gossip treehouse when hordes of screeching troons could dogpile them out of business for it. Nobody wants to be known in the sector as "enablers of the cyberstalkers who bully and harass heckin' valid UwU twanswamyn to self-deletion".

I'm in no position to offer legal strategy, but in my opinion FWIW, Null and his lawyers should pound on these:

1. The "don't pozload my negholep" rule. We are spectators, and laughing at people for their own foolishness is not a crime. Contrary to our "harasser" reputation, we do not tolerate contacting lolcows.
2. the fact that the fedpost used to boot us off Cloudflare was unanimously condemned by the community and swiftly deleted.
3. That LFJ has admitted he was gunning for us long before he was even on our radar.
4. If LFJ brings up the harassment, Swattings, suicides etc. that we get blamed for, show the evidence that absolves KF of responsibility.
5. The fact that we have proof of LFJ and Keffals's embarrassing, unethical, and arguably illegal behavior, and thus, they have an ulterior motive for wanting us gone.

It won't un-tarnish our reputation, but it will make our version of events public record. That's about as close we can get to clearing our name.

Again, IANAL, this is just my unqualified opinion. But we have the truth on our side, while Brickface has lies, obfuscations, and dirty tricks. The truth is like a lion; you don't have to defend it. Set it free, and it will defend itself.
