I check a couple boards every couple months when I'm really bored. It's like walking through ruins though.
I checked /wsg/ in early 2022 i think and it had the same threads with all the same .webm's as in 2016 :story:
Earlier than that i remember the generals on /tg/ being still good, with the rest of threads notably more shit than i was used to. Couldn't even muster to browse the full catalogue on either /tv/ or /ck/, just the same old, same old shit i got entirely sick of between 2014 and 2016. Writing this, i think maybe the site isn't even that much worse now than it was a decade ago, maybe it always was kinda shit, i don't know. Certainly lost its novelty for me, now a relic of pre-pozzed internet times.

Edit: Wait, that's wrong, the internet was pretty fucking pozzed in 2014 already. Just a bit less than it is now.

Did Kiwi Farms used to be better or worse? Please explain your answer(s).

*put on sunglasses to become the 'cool' oldfag user*

Alright, let me tell you a story. What a lot of you newfags don't realize is that KiwiFarms was originally a site built around documenting and laughing at one person and one person only: Christian Weston Chandler. We weren't even called KiwiFarms back then!

As times went by, more and more users joined up and introduced us to newer people to document and laugh at. Around the year [sometime prior to your join date], we had a sudden influx of politispergs from the fringe corners of the internet; as the political landscape of the United States shifted more towards identity politics and Big Tech companies began banning the undesirables (rightfully so, I might add), more and more people joined KiwiFarms, but there was a problem: None of these people had joined to laugh at lolcows, hell, they cared nothing for lolcows! All they cared about was politisperging and talking about [whatever politics that's the opposite of what *I* like].

What once was a tight community of people who knew each other by heart, who had seen the origins of JULAAAAY, who had seen [random schizo event no one gives a fuck about], is turned into a vast cesspool of people who don't agree with me politically. I don't even know half the users in this site anymore! Now most of the people who join up don't even know who Chris is, most of them don't even know who [random obscure 'lolcow' that I passionately alog because he is a carbon copy of me] is.

No, you know what, thank you. We don't need your kind here. Not only is closing down A&H a good thing to do; it's the right thing to do.

It's exactly what they said on 4cuck before it got too bad to put up with any more under gookmoot. "Close down /pol/" said the trannies, before they completely took over.

A&N may absolutely suck, even as a containment forum, much like /pol/, but you are an absolute fool if you think getting rid of one of the few bulwarks against troons taking over the site will help anything.

Any site that isn't completely troon-hostile inevitably gets taken over by troons.

And if you disagree, give me an exception.

So pretty much like what happened on /pol/ (i pity anyone who used that board for anything but shitposting and the humor threads, or even worse, got radicalized by it to do IRL shit) in the 2016 election ramp-up, i did not know that. I hate that virtually any topic of discussion on the internet is politizised y now. Could make you think that, mayhap, the hebrews are behind that :story:

/m/ wasn't that bad until about some 6-7 months ago, but now the board's fucking drowned in low-quality /a/ tier shit posting. Shame, it was the one board that still had some of the spark of old 4chan remaining.
Shit even /m/ has fallen? I used to go there often between 2015 and 2018 during my college days to shitpost between classes and look for cool mecha shows to torrent. At this point, there's really nothing worth coming back to. /diy/ is nice , but I'd rather read a blog by an actual expert who isn't going to talk about gay shit in media res.

I think KF in terms of quality and diversity of content has only gotten better over the years. Thread OP's are much better written then they were back in the day and because there are so many more people here shit gets done faster. The Keffals thread is a great example of how the extra traffic led to so much original content and memes. The main issue is obviously the site having to keep moving because of troons.

it definitely was better when trannies weren't trying to get it shutdown 24/7
The main problem is if you aren't interested in trannies, it's now impossible to escape their bullshit. It's also made the site more political and angry because well, we're pissed off about these disgusting troons.

That's true of basically every high traffic internet forum now. You can say the same thing about Twitter, Reddit or 4chan. Tranny shit and politics is inescapable. The modern culture war made it that way/

They're not constantly getting shut down and chased off platforms because of fucking trannies because they roll over and take the girl dick right up the ass.

Tell me this shit when Reddit goes offline for a week at a time because some tranny got mad.

"Personally, I've been dying to find that one screencap with Anon flying to Paris, stealing a skull from the catacombs then ejaculating inside the skull. Does anyone remember it? If so, can anybody share it?"
I love and hate how I know exactly what he's talking about and probably where I have it, except I have so many archived posts I don't know exactly where.

all the old fags in here bitching about how "muh 4chans not as good as it was in the old days" should fucking neck yourselves you gay nigger retards
This tbh, 4chan maybe a shadow of it's former self, but it beats most other places. Or to borrow Winston Churchill: "4chan is the worst site except all the other sites"
