Yeah the problem with it is that it'd have to be a self contained story released all at once.
If it's episodic in nature, if it has any ambiguity at all, zoomers will latch onto it and "make it their own".

Meaning they'll attach some arbitrary labels to preexisting characters, do some recolors and think of reasons why they (as in, the person making it "their own") wouldn't be in danger of the main antagonist. (think "oh walter woodsman was actually an ftm who got upset at being misgendered so I as a fellow true and honest tranny wouldn't be a target!")
Ultimately butchering what was once a promising or even just outright good horror series into an absolute joke.

It sucks and I do wish the social engineering behind these subhuman cretins wasn't so interweaved with the modern day, because a creator can't gatekeep these troglodytes away from their project lest they be blacklisted by troons and by extension anyone who pretends to care about troons for social credit.
Yes, I'm slightly MATI because horror, as I grew up with, the kind that makes you feel dread and despair, is absolutely dead and its corpse has been defiled.

This is why I like Vintage Eight, his presentation is hit-and-miss and all his stories takes place in the same universe, but besides that he does hour long stories that have beginning, a middle and and end with not much ambiguity, and then he goes on to make something else.

For me it has been entirely shock horror, which is absolutely fine. I’m genuinely curious as to how they are killing the people more than anything. The end result isn’t as interesting to me as the what ifs. Which I’m assuming could be the point of it, I mean how did they put him in the pipes, what about the candle wax death… if those things aren’t talked about or explored further, then I’m out it was shit from the start.

My enjoyment is purely based on curiosity, if shit doesn’t somehow at least a little bit get explained, then yeah it’s pointless shock horror.
