He sells (5) books and that is what he boasts about on Twitter as an accomplishment? Most authors simply write good books that sell themselves, they don't have to pull some sad/pathetic "traveling salesman" routine to make $40 dollars. He would have made more money that day just working a real job, like a responsible adult.

Anyone else recall the time fatty took a shot at the waiter that worked for the high-end restaurant in Vegas? He tried to make fun of him for having a job as a waiter, IIRC it was a nice restaurant in Las Vegas, not exactly a 401K kinda job but they make good money in tips for $500 checks and such. I was particularly offended because to me, any man who works 40+ hours a week has my respect, and then there's fatty trying to dab on a guy with a real job, meanwhile he's an unemployed hack selling $40 in books is apparently a productive day for him.

Looks like he's been hauling some of those around for a while, too. Check the yellowing on the middle copy of Starship Repo and the dog-eared cover and general wear on the top copy of Gate Crashers. I'm no expert, but I don't think successful authors typically have copies of their books lying around so long that they wind up looking like that.

Patposters have picked up on the phrase for things like the "second, better divorce" and other such Pat-related phrases. OnA is responsible for a large amount of Pat content due to his pigheaded desire to constantly engage with funsters; hence why some refer to it as such.
