Not only that, Phil let slip that whenever he eats, his post nasal drip kicks in. As a result, he needs to keep tissues around to blow his nose, but he also coughs and snorts throughout the meal.

No wonder Kat doesn't eat with him. But also, imagine being so fucking lazy and selfish that YOU RECOGNIZE THAT THIS HAPPENS, but you won't take meds to remedy it, therefore ruining everyone else's meal.

Phil crying at the end of chrono trigger makes me think something is going on with his life.

I was going to defend Phil as a man near his age, I can understand getting emotional at the end of Chrono Trigger, especially with the good ending where Crono and Marle go up in the sky with the balloons and that cheerful, hopeful music I can replay in my head still. It's a beautiful game I'll always love.

But, then he explained it today and DelusionalSydePhil came out saying he was so moved experiencing it with an interactive audience... nobody in his chat gave a damn. Thus, he may have been acting, motivated by that $10 on the bottom of the screen.

He deals so heavily in psychological displacement that he can rarely if ever access genuine emotions in real time these days.. Lashing out at doordash drivers, game developers and social media personalities instead of taking aim at himself like he knows he should. I suspect he'll reach a point where his streams become a DSP Cries It telenovela that will undoubtedly save the channel. You'll be able to pay him to use different styles of tissues.

To be frank, Khet always was around for no reason other than to be a person Phil could point to and say 'see? SEE? I'm married, I'm successful! My far more attractive ex who I treated like shit and was a bad partner to doesn't matter to me even though she shoved the engagement ring in my face!' as with anything, Phil tries to come off as looking successful by what he thinks other people call successful, combined with his extreme paranoia.

I recall somebody said that Phil, deep down, is probably an incredibly lonely person who wants friends, even if he himself doesn't entirely realize this. It might tie into what I say in the above paragraph about Khet having been nothing but a cope move because Leanna walked out on DSP after all that time and he couldn't accept that. Now, with it looking more and more likely that Khet has also flown the gout fort (and maybe taken the cat too?), Phil's truly all alone again assuming his mother isn't around for whatever reason, and this time Phil knows he's not getting another wife.

Honestly, if the Reddit story is actually true, maybe DSP(or his mom) has hired an in-home caregiver (or his mom) or similar to tend to the snort fort. It's not too far-fetched, IMO.

The dsl reack video really made phil pull out all the usual tricks to play the victim.
Just like he used his alcoholism as an excuse to do bad things, he now uses his nasal drip as a "medical condition" that you shouldn't make fun of. He conviniently forgets that he can control his snorts, burps and other disgusting mannerisms.
For example, your lactose intolerance isn't an excuse to enter a room, drink a galon of milk and then start farting in the face of everyone.
Phil gives the vibe of a very manipulative person, this includes made up conditions like the back problems that come and go when they can be helpful,the self diagnosed depression which is also responsible for the masturbation stream, the alcoholism which can either make you feel bad about him or take him outof a tough situation.

My tinfoil hat conspiracy guess for Phil's current situation: Kat is still there, but she's functionally a shut-in retard that can't work or even maintain a house. We know she's at least Aspie with serious mental problems and had a horrible life growing up, and that she's bounced between many basic minimum wage retail jobs. Thus, Mommy Linda moved to Renton ~2 years ago when Phil went TMI saying that his parents had issues, kept calling Kat Mom.

What was going on with the Chrono Trigger cry in particular is that he was playing a game from his childhood and was overwhelmed by nostalgia, reminiscing about a time where he had no responsibilities and he wasn't a lolcow laughingstock liked by nobody.
