Highlights:

I watched some of Matt Christiansen's Matt&Blonde show last night.

There was a worlds colliding moment with one of their superchats where someone wrote in using Camelot's Twitter ban as a canary in the coal mine that the purges have begun in the run-up to Biden 2024 and the Deep State is coming for us all.

You may be forgetting his model. Think old Rekieta - he's got a small (221K subs) but fiercely loyal fanbase of paypigs who superchat. (In fact, many have left pigging for Rekieta and turned to Cody. That includes Mandy, ArtTheClown, Grifty, etc. who regularly superchat.)

He streams about 4x/wk and has achieved Fight Milk/Naked Snake (I forget the difference) status for something like 200+ shows consecutively. I believe the benchmark for Naked Snake is $300 in Superchats in a single show - it's a challenge his audience gleefully takes on and ensures he makes it.

After the 40% YT cut that's about $34.5K/annually + memberships + whatever meager ad revenue he might make. That's some easy money. It's not like he puts much effort into his streams and they only average about 2 hrs. (Last night was obviously an anomaly but he had 57 superchats and made over $900 before the YT cut.)

But, yes, he's anticipating a YT ban and said last night that he's putting all his efforts into LOCALS. It's all very familiar. Nick is obviously in his ear.
