If you use Brave browser and activate the option, you can turn off the screen no matter the website and the video continues, including Youtube.

Ghost Gum seems like a good guy. Mostly covers reddit stuff for context. I DM'ed him briefly when the /r/antiwork stuff was popping off and was pleasantly surprised that he actually DM'ed me back.

Aside from that, Louis Rossman had another banger complaining about how the FTC will do anything but protect consumers from large companies' hostile tactics. In this one, he highlights a company that will try to void your monitor's warrantee if you use the monitor's VESA mount (you know, the thing you need to use to hold your monitor up). Absolutely blatant bullshittery

Emma Roberts accused of being transphobic by ‘American Horror Story’ co-star Angelica Ross​

Speaking in an Instagram Live video Tuesday, Ross, who is transgender, detailed an alleged exchange with Roberts, 32, that she claims took place on the set of the show in 2019 and left her “blood boiling.”

“I’m standing in front of Emma, talking to her like this, and she’s in front of me, her back against the mirror,” the “Pose” alum recalled the alleged ordeal. “She goes, ‘John, Angelica‘s being mean.’”

While the “John” in question was not specified, Roberts could have been referring to director John J. Gray, who directed two episodes of “American Horror Story: 1984.”

“She’s just being whatever. And John is like, ‘OK, ladies, that’s enough. Let’s get back to work.’ And she then looks at me and she goes, ‘Don’t you mean lady? And she turns around like this and covers her mouth [with her shirt].”

“Like, ‘What the f–k did you just say?’ And I’m standing there looking her dead ass in the damn thing, and I’m like, trying to process [what] the f–k she just said.”

About the Settlement​

Epic Games, the company responsible for Fortnite, agreed to pay $245 million to settle FTC allegations related to in-game purchases. According to the FTC, the company charged parents and gamers of all ages for unwanted items and locked the accounts of customers who disputed wrongful charges with their credit card companies.
On September 19, 2023, the FTC began sending emails to millions of Fortnite gamers, and will continue sending additional emails for one month.

Who is eligible to apply for a refund?​

You may apply for a refund if any of these statements are true:
  • You were charged in-game currency for items you didn’t want between January 2017 and September 2022
  • Your child made charges to your credit card without your knowledge between January 2017 and November 2018
  • Your account was locked between January 2017 and September 2022 after you complained to your credit card company about wrongful charges

If I file a claim, will my Fortnite account be affected?​

No, your Fortnite account won’t be affected. You won’t lose any items you have purchased.
