The average Democrat voter, for all their accusations of MAGA cultism, is so far gone in VBNMW most of them could probably be compelled to vote even for Manchin or Sinema, people they openly hate, if that's what their programmers wanted. As long as they have a (D) next to their name and get the media stamp of True and Honest leftist and the praises of the right people they'd vote for an actual rock. "They voted for this" combined with the accepted wisdom that once the blue cancer gets a stronghold in your city they just magically win every election ever (no you cannot check the books) despite being at 8% approval is certainly a hard thing to balance.

Michelle Obama on the campaign trail would be hilarious. Imagine someone as dumb as Kamala and as entitled as Hillary Clinton, only with a hair trigger temper and huge chip on her shoulder. Combine that with the fact that she'd have to pretend her and her husband aren't living separate lives at this point, and you have the makings of multiple on camera meltdowns.

Thing is, she seems to have zero personal political ambitions, likely due to the fact she knows herself well enough to know she'd fuck it up badly and that she's already gotten the bag and enough clout to satisfy her ego and material desires as is. Someone is really going to have to convince her to run.

Hillary Clinton Syndrome; it allows for a restoration of the husband's Presidency while circumnavigating term limit issues and puts him back into the White House where he can shadow President shit ala how most liberals justified the initial stages of Hillary's political career post Clintons leaving the White House, by holding the idea that Hillary would do whatever Bill tells her to do.

The people pushing Michelle Obama to run are the same folks that desperately want Obama back in charge, with his wife as his hand puppet; made worse by the idea that Michelle would be a more agreeable hand puppet for Obama than Hillary would for Bill, who clearly checked mentally out as soon as he left office, allowing Hillary to basically pave her own road to damnation with her choices as a politician.

It's a bit of both. The first time Team Blue gets 50%+1 votes in a city, they rewrite the election laws and gerrymander the districts so they very rapidly go from 51% of the city council to 90%. But on the flip side, and I've seen this in a couple cities I've lived in, the Democrats win because the Republicans do not even try to get people's votes. "Cut taxes and do fuck all else" is not a popular message in a city. Lately, the Democrats defunded my city's police department. Crime is skyrocketing. Did the Republican opposition run on restoring the PD? No, they ran on cutting it even more. The GOP candidate ran on a platform of cutting taxes and reducing city services across the board, right in the middle of us suffering a crime wave and major infrastructure problems due to Democrats cutting some key services in order to fund faggot shit. He deservedly got almost no votes.

I still remember talking with bernie bros who were trying to desperately justify why he needed that third house, akchually, because he needed somewhere close to DC and somewhere close to home and somewhere... they couldn't grasp the idea that they'd been grifted by one of the "good ones".

He made all the right noises. If he'd been genuine in his professed beliefs, he could have made a real difference. Of course, if he'd been genuine, he wouldn't have been allowed anywhere near the democrat nomination to begin with.

They will always rally behind whatever retard the party nominates because a good portion of them think the opposition is Literally Hitler.
This is why the GOP base was able to force Trump while Democrats meekly accepted the party screwing over Bernie Sanders for Hillary. This is why they'll vote for Biden again, or Kamala (who they hate) if he dies during his basement campaign.
