The Cult Is Alive...? Admittedly its on the more BM end of crust. When did Darkthrone become "blackened Crust"?
Why do you have it?Sort of unrelated, but I have a jacket that belonged to a Anarchist/BM Crust. Sort of war trophy, I guess you could call it.
He composed most of the music but Bernie Taupin wrote most of his lyrics.I think Elton John is a fine "singer-songwriter" who sang about things that made sense.

There was a political disagreement between black metal heads, and it happened one of the leftists left his battle vest behind. Why do you have it?
There's no doubt (pun intended) that mainstream music critics inflated grunge's legacy and have always given softball reviews to anything nihilistic and glorifying heroin. I don't want to do a straight edge sperg rant but i've seen cheesy or "feel good" used so often by rym users aping their favorite critics to condemn music as if joy is the enemy of art. There's a place in music for both concept albums about addiction and hard rock songs about driving fastGrunge was more of a favorite with music critics, who were personally invested in making it seem like it was this major force in the music industry when shit like REM already paved the runway. The problem was that they hated hair metal because they were unabashedly masculine, even as they dressed like faggots. It was the music their bullies who beat them up and stole their girlfriends listened to. Fags like Kurt Cobain were feminists and grunge was supposed to resemble progress. So they actively fought for grunge and against hair metal. So that’s why there’s this total rewrite of the music scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Now it’s considered canon and every Generation X faggot follows along.
glad to know there are fellow kiwis on slsk. I don't leave nicotene open as much as i wish to anymore but I'd say with 4TB of music alone that none of it is "locked" and i see anything taken from me as insurance incase my backups of backups fail, someone is enjoying it. my name there begins with "pizzahut"You see it a lot on P2P like soulseek or old forums and torrent trackers. If your goal when buying stuff is to share it publicly but then curate who has access to it, why bother pirating at all?
There's nothing wrong with listening to the same thing all the time. Variety is the spice of life, and only shitskins put spice on things.Genre purists are among the most insufferable idiots and black metal purists among of the worst of genre purists.
sadly ghost is the most interesting radio rock act to come out of the 2010s. still, a pitifully low bar, don't see why people are raving over them. maybe it's their FNAF-tier hidden lore or some shitNot sure if what I'm gonna say is an unpopular view but fuck it anyways.
I fucking HATE Ghost. I really fucking do. Loathsome talentless cunts who have made nothing good. All they have made is overproduced, manufactured, pop metal fucking CANCER.
I say this as someone who isn't a fan of the band, but they do put on a good live show. They were playing one of the days I walked into Wacken in 2014 and despite not really caring for the music, I can admit I liked their overall performance.Five Finger Death Punch
