So the mufflers rusted out, I guess they get humidity in Milwakee because of the great lakes, now he's got a 2006(?) v6 Rustang with fart cans
It doesn't seem like that old of a car to falling apart due to rust
I would imagine it's the salt in the snow from the winters in Milwaukee, I don't live in the area so I would just be speculating. Ultimately, the car is driven in the Milwaukee winters, it has 15+ years, 200K+ miles and it's not garage kept, it's going to be very very rusty. Pat has no idea how to remedy that, IIRC he was changing his brake rotors without a torque wrench a caliper tool or at least a breaker-bar, I suspect he was using the shitty ford emergency tire-iron for the job. My point being is he likes to play pretend he is a "car guy" but, he's no more of a "car guy" than Brianna Wu knows about cars, he doesn't know anything about cars more than he can google, or he knows about carpentry or fence building or firearms or modern warfare.
WTF is it with these faggots (Pat and John "Brianna" Flynt) pretending to be car savvy on twitter? I guess they are trying to prove they aren't unemployed useless losers?
Pat is definitely going o take Lolcow of the year award, he fucking earned that shit.
Pat has the 4.6L V8, it was heavily outdated engine having been designed in 1990 or something. At best, new it made around 315HP. Pat has never done any real upgrades to the engine meaning he's probably getting around 220-230? max horsepower in that rusted 4.6. A few years later in 2010 Ford would put in the "good V8" the "Coyote" in the s197, when the s197 was given the newer "good body" making the base GT good for over 400 horsepower. Even the V6 engine in the better 2010, and up s197 is faster than his 4.6 liter POS. In 2008 the 4.6 was faster than the average car by a little bit, these days it's slow as fuck. If he had the money or the know-how he'd install a super charger or turbo or a NOS system. Currently he has a car in limbo between contemporary and classic, making it just another "old car" with the value less than a Honda Civic of the same year, and the rusted 4.6, well it's slower than a modern day V6. Unlike Pat, I actually know cars.
