Not really, the cause for HIV induced AIDS are the TCD4+ cells dying en masse due to the virus. These cells only amount to autoimmune disorders mediated by the cellular branch of adaptive immunity.

Some autoimmune diseases are not cell mediated and their root cause could be the innate immunity branch. It depends on the underlying cause.
