Maybe they are planning to stay in Thailand?
I think its more her consoooomer mindset and the fact her YT coin just got deposited. I do believe she had to be out of Kuwait for 30 days to reset her visa, which is why they are in Thailand for that long. Of course anything is possibly with Goofy and Gunt.

Wasn’t the last time Chantal did a visa renewal it was just a matter of driving across the border…when everyone thought she could go back to Canada?

Yes that is true; maybe she got an extension for that particular visa and had to actually leave for this visa reset. Its all so confusing.

Visa requirements can be pretty capricious. It's seldom a matter of just checking boxes, especially when renewing. Lots of bureaucrats have a lot of discretion and can arbitrarily require different (albeit pre-defined) hoops be jumped through. Sometimes it really feels like they just spin the Wheel of Requirements and you just have to live with it.

There's a method to the madness, of course. It's harder to take advantage of systems when they're not too easy to predict. Of course, it also makes it harder to move through them legitimately, but most places are more concerned about keeping bad actors out than allowing good actors in.

All the visa talk is pretty pointless, imo. Even people who know what they're talking about beyond a Google search still don't usually have the whole picture. Unless you're an immigration lawyer who specializes in the country in question, you're really just guessing.

So basically, everyone is waiting for Chantal’s visa to be denied (which could lead to Salah being deported), and we just have to wait for the meltdown that comes when that doesn’t happen.

This fat idiot bought bathmats to take back to Kuwait. WHAT THE FUCK CHANTAL?!
I know! I love it!
I wouldn't bash anyone if it was some ethnic style rug but a dollar store looking bathroom mat is just funny (by funny I mean sad/pathetic).

I'm going to need a full autistic sperg on what the fuck this means? How does one "reset" a visa? Are we making up terms now?

3 months ago it is suspected that Chantal renewed her visa with the help of a border hop to Saudi. A new tourist visa would be valid for 3 months, an extension (not needing to leave the country) would be 1 month. Since she is conveniently travelling after another 3 months stay in Kuwait it is suspected the Thailand trip is also a border run visa renewal.
Canada, Thailand, the moon. It doesn't matter as long as she leaves the country (Kuwait).

I think you are confusing yourself with this "reset" thinking. Without that there isn't really anything confusing.
Visa requirements can be pretty capricious.
Yes they for sure can be. But there is also no need to complicate it further. Will the Kuwaiti authorities care/notice the border runs? Maybe, maybe not.
So you mean they have to leave Kuwait for 30 days...to then be allowed to stay in Kuwait for 30 days ad infinitum? Am I reading this right?

Maybe they've never had someone want to stay in Kuwait permanently before because why the fuck would you.
No. If she is travelling on a tourist visa it is valid for 3 months. After those 3 months she can do what is known as a border hop/run and leave the country (it doesn't matter for how long) and since she holds a Canadian passport apply for a new tourist visa (done online in Kuwait, and most countries nowadays) and can stay for another 3 months. Then repeat the process (if caught she could be denied that visa and entry into Kuwait). There is also the possibility to get an extension (that no one thinks she got), for that you don't have to leave the country but it is only valid for a month (3+1 month, then needing to leave the country).

Even if Chantal is kicked all the way back to moose country why would you assume Salah would be deported from Kuwait? Let's not make this more of a mess than it is.

Any mother fucker asks for sources Friday evening you better find your way to www.google.com!

If I may toss in my two cents, I'd say the last couple of visa runs were typical 90-day tourist visas that went off without a hitch. As I've noted many times, this kind of laissez faire attitude toward visa renewal is never extended indefinitely by the host countries; in the lenient ones, you get two or three passes and then they start asking harder questions.

The most likely reason for the extended Thailand stay was that for whatever reason, they seem to be afraid that another out-and-in renewal might not fly. Perhaps Salah was tipped off by someone with experience. So, they are figuring if they lay low for a few weeks, they will face less scrutiny.

They may well be right; Kuwait does not seem to be particularly strict about their visas. But it is eyebrow raising that they aren't doing the quick dash this time. They've got zero reason to keep loitering in Thailand; they've seen all the tigers and elephants and temples they need. They've resorted to eating poutine; almost as if resigned to a long stay.

There's nothing preventing them from remaining in Thailand indefinitely, except for the 90-day visa renewals. Thailand is likely to be a bit stricter about that than Kuwait is, so if this is their plan, they had better have a Plan B.

Fatso doesn't seem particularly stressed out at the moment, so perhaps everything is going to whatever crackpot plan they have hatched.

Most expats know enough to keep a low profile when chilling out in a foreign land with flimsy visa credentials. Clotso is the type to walk around in clown garb and let random dogs into restaurants.

I wonder if they're buying gifts for Salah's family. People don't usually buy a bunch of souvenirs for themselves.
Hes a retard and shes a cheap bitch, who only buys shit for people if theres something in it for her. I bet she bought it for her mukbang setup to sit on bc she sweaty and gross af. Instead of cleaning the floor, she can just toss those when theyre really mangy. Its like a deluxe peepad.

I would be very interested in a saga where Chantal was denied a Visa. Would they stay for a while (I assume Salad has 2 months left in Thailand) or would he have to go back to Kuwait? His passport doesn’t allow for him to enter many countries-would they become nomads? That would be torturous for them both. Would Chantal give up and go to Canada? Can she even afford it?

I know this is a long shot for Teflon gunt but the rage streams would be like nothing we’d ever seen.

More or less, yeah. My personal speculation is that it's pretty hard to get a visa denied in Kuwait because they rely so heavily on immigrant workers. They also seem to have a... robust deportation system, so they might err on the side of more menial workers and rely on the immigration police (or whatever) to turf out the bad ones.

Will the Kuwaiti authorities care/notice the border runs?
Exactly: will they care, is the question. I can imagine scenarios where the wife/partner/employee of someone who has a legit visa might regularly be let in without too much fuss. It would be me imagining things though.

They may well be right; Kuwait does not seem to be particularly strict about their visas. But it is eyebrow raising that they aren't doing the quick dash this time.
Yeah, exactly. The trouble with people trying to figure this stuff out is that the Americans/Canadians have one understanding of how visas work, the Eurofags have a totally different underlying philosophy, and even people itt who have experience of the ME aren't really experts either. And then there's the whole bribery thing that most westerners don't understand is a real thing in a lot of the world. But you're right -- the fact that she's out of the country for a month could mean something. Or it could not.

My guess would be that she planned on a quick border run for a renewal and was denied, with the further stipulation that she could not reapply within a certain period of time (one month, say). That sort of thing does happen, but even if that's the case, it doesn't necessarily mean that Kuwaiti authorities are closing in on her fake marriage or whatever. It doesn't even mean they're especially suspicious. It could literally just mean that the guy reviewing the application was having a shitty day and decided to take it out on the next fat white woman he saw. I mean, who hasn't seen a picture of Chins and instinctively wanted to fuck with her?

But if it caused the tension between her and Salad and the resultant panic-eating we've all been privy to, I'm all for it. That's what matters here.

Its funny bc she doesnt bathe at all. Is there an alternative use?
Sitting pads for her on the floor and couch to catch the sweat running down her ass crack? I wonder with this purchase was she so high she thought they'd be a great purchase to take on an international flight.. Or has she not been in any markets browsing around in Kuwait to think to buy any for the apartment? Where was she walking around that she saw these in Thailand and thought "aha! Thats what we need babe!". Its beyond bizarre. And the cat bed? WTF?
I wonder if they're buying gifts for Salah's family. People don't usually buy a bunch of souvenirs for themselves.
Most people will buy a few souvenirs for themselves to remind them of their time there, something unique to that visit. Even more so "newly weds" would get something the couple would remember the place by for their home. CHantal got bathmats. The only thing they did that was meaningful to Chantal was the 7-11, so maybe a Big Gulp/Ice cup to go. They already got the tiger photos so maybe that's "their" souvenir and the rest are gifts. It would be customary to at least get something for your pet sitter.

I'd love to see the customs form
"Anything to declare ma'am"
* Rat Face *
"Just some bath mats and a cat bed"

Salah may have a visa valid for 90 days but Chantal is from a visa exempt country and can only stay 30 days in Thailand unless she gets a visa allowing her to stay longer. Like Kuwait, Thailand fines you for over staying.
