You might have had a point if I did something to make it any level of difficult for anyone to find the full convo, or if I'd have cropped out the parts that made it clear there were more posts in between. You both could have also had a point if the most commonly played out scenario with guys who sound even remotely like him didn't boil down to "she wants to do what I want her to do, so keep your trap shut and don't tell her anything that might change her mind." The guy sounds like a rightoid fanatic in a cult, was told as nicely as possible without bullshitting him what he voluntarily makes himself sound like and got pissy. If you followed me here just to cry about it, you came to the wrong neighborhood.

I came to this thread first. If anyone needs to calm down it's you. The mere existence of someone making a different medical decision than you would choose makes your horrifically insecure to the point where you accuse someone you don't know of being an abuser in a cult. That's insane.

Homebirthing is really stupid, especially if it's your first child. There are places you can go to have a natural birth that are not hospitals but will have a doctor nearby for an emergency. There are so many things that can go wrong during a birth like cord wrapped around the babies neck or being compressed in the birth canal due to cord prolapse and cutting off the babies oxygen supply and a million other things that have nothing to do with being "old and fat". Those are just things that happen NATURALLY and in NATURE that means your baby dies. So if you are that invested in doing things "naturally" that you are okay with the natural consequence of a dead baby I guess go the fuck ahead. I can't even imagine being that retarded. You can just put in your birth plan and tell doctors that you want to have a birth without intervention unless medically necessary and they will respect your choice. And then wait until your wife starts begging for an epidural before you know it and hopefully while they still have time to administer it.

I found common ground with him by expressing my experience in how incompetent GPs are. I told him that his "partner" needs to make an informed decision. Never at any point did I tell him that he should or should not prefer a hospital birth. As long as his reasons are sound and his intentions towards his "partner" and his child are only good and they are his only priorities, I respect either decision. Your entire post is shoving words in my mouth and yapping at me on behalf of a moid who calls women "roasties", degrades them for being employed, etc just because they tried to share their valuable personal stories about their pregnancies and births with his "partner", which triggers the absolute fuck out of him apparently.

Also LMAO did you seriously just pull the "I was here first" card like a five year old? Holy shit.

Pick-me types are so annoying and it’s why I made a thread on them. I used to be a bit of one until I learned to not see all other women as potential competition. You can still find great people to date without viewing others as people to beat. I like having women friends personally because it’s easier to discuss girly things with them. A lot of men are nice to hang out with, but most of them can’t pick out subtleties in fashion/beauty like women can (overall, there’s always exceptions).

It looks even worse, considering he was referring to her as his "partner". Now I'm wondering what kind of fucked up shit is in the works if he might not even be married to her in the first place while reacting the way he does to people even just trying to give her warnings in the form of personal anecdotes and then getting pissy that way to someone pointing it out. I'm not saying anything specific is going on (lol calm down, handmaid), I'm just saying it looks like it might be iffy at a glance based on his own unedited words.

I've seen a lot of fucked up shit with controlling husbands/boyfriends who fucking hate women and just want what they want, and some things he was saying gave me some familiar vibes. Boy howdy, he'd be an interesting case at the very least with just a session or two, I'd bet.

is there a birth sperging thread? Not because I don’t like it here, but rather because I too would like to sperg but I like to fight people and it would totally derail the thread.

As for a tie-in, I’ve noticed there are fewer and fewer men in obstetrics and gynecology and it’s fucking awesome. it is a fact that women have better outcomes with female providers regardless of whether their care needs pertain to female health. Men ruined birthing in the US by demonizing the midwife in the early 1900s and now the ladies are finally bringing it back so women can finally get good care.

Being against gendered toys was big in online liberal circles back in the day. There was "is this toy for boys or girls? do you interact with it with your genitals? if no it is for both boys and girls, if yes it is for neither because it is a toy for adults." Now it's "my daughter is actually my son because she plays with dinosaurs. instead of Barbies" And somehow this is considered progressive and left wing. Clownworld moment.

A lot of troons have this massive insecurity of not looking “feminine” or “masculine” enough so they’ll play into stereotypes of both a lot to hilarious extremes (while forgetting to do things like shave and bathe regularly). I’ve seen so many troons don mini skirts and push up bras thinking it makes them look womanly while having super greasy hair and the makeup skills of a blind toddler. They really just enforce sex stereotypes because not having it clear cut means they can’t “pass” as well.

The troons I follow on twitter are all super salty toward gender non conforming women. This includes the transsexual/truscums who in other contexts are willing to push back against the misogyny of the mainstream trans community. Because they all know that the less women play into beauty standards the harder it will be for them to mimic a woman.

Even when men attempt to mimic women, they’ll be hard pressed to change any beauty standards. A guy can get fake nails, extensions, and fake lashes and still look like a guy. Men literally have different skull shapes and facial proportions than what women have, so it can only cover so much

with the way so many men describe female genitals, i have to wonder, are straight men even attracted to women?
i'd expect "roast beef" and "axe wound", "gash", and anything to do with fish to come from homosexuals who are disgusted by the female form
