The problem with comparing Milo to Wu is that Wu is delusional and actually believes his own lies whereas Milo most likely doesn't wholly believe anything he says and is cynically exploiting his followers for profit.

No, Wu has become conscious of her own scam a while ago. They maintain their online presences to score attention and cash.

He has one redeeming feature as people here have said - he gets Tumblrinas and SJWs bent out of shape.

But other than that... well, he's just a poser isn't he. I bet that when the boot is on the other foot and rightist thought is in vogue again, he'll have an epiphany and start going on about how he was wrong and actually he's some sort of mega-liberal bleedheart who saw the light.

Genius prediction, and this is gonna happen in his future. I can see it.

He will try to redeem himself with a David Brock moment. David Brock is another jizz-faced right-wing queer who suddenly found morality when it was profitable to do so.

He also had a penchant for Nazi rings

Is it not that the presence of the ring is supposed to be a concrete link between the two pictures? I can't see anything Nazi-esque about the ring itself.

There's also Iron Cross Milo:

Did he ever go through with that pride march in Switzerland?

No, it was cancelled for "security reasons." *Anita Sarkeesian face emote*

I think Milo's orbiters are way funnier than Milo himself - there are a bunch of people who were so desperate for asspats and RTs that they basically turned their whole online lives into worshipping him.

The main lolcowness I love about this dude is his insistence on dying his hair blonde when his skin complexion clearly contrasts with this. You're not fooling anyone, dude. Especially with the Yiannapoulos name. We know the curtains don't match the carpet.

I'm not sure. I'll do some more digging.

Apparently Milo doesn't even write his own articles. Its a group effort (Note this is from buzzfeed. Keep that in mind)

Yet the sources who came forward to BuzzFeed News tell a different story. “Milo Yiannopoulos is not one person,” said the Breitbart employee. “That person does not exist. It is a collective consciousness of various different people who come and go.”

The former intern said Yiannopoulos delegated frequently. “I wrote articles for him,” he told BuzzFeed News. “His articles on Breitbart. He writes some of them, but most no. He has other people writing his shit.”
Yiannopoulos directs these personal interns — who are not associated with Breitbart — through a private group on the chat service Slack. BuzzFeed News obtained a minute-and-a-half-long video that appears to depict activity in the group, which is called PROJECT MILO.

In the clip, the user “milo” warns the group not to use racial epithets because of the way it would look if the group chat became public: “Can’t believe I have to say this but no n-words in shitposting or anywhere else, thank you. Please THINK about how this could appear if leaked to the wrong person.”

Elsewhere in the video clip, “milo” writes, “does anyone need anything else from Daddy tonight?”; instructs the group to tweet a link to a Breitbart story about Twitter censorship of conservatives from their accounts; and tells workers to tune in to an appearance on Fox News. He also asks several workers to write a speech about feminism: “include (1) feminism attention seeking for ugly people (2) wage gap (3) campus rape culture… a load of mean jokes.”

It kinda fits. Milo doesn't really work, he just stirs shit until money comes out.

Without even getting into his writings, he's a fantastic public speaker. Even if someone else is writing the whole thing for him, that magnetism's a talent.

I also don't take him seriously, which helps substantially.

So he obviously has a long history of being a try-hard edgelord.

Pretty much. The guys followers are honestly the most funny though - literally no different than those on the other side. Dude can scarcely speak for a few minutes behind a podium without them turning into seals; I'd expect that from an American audience but in a speech he gave earlier this week to the Young British Heritage Society they were the exact same. Guess being a spaz is trans-national.

its a sad day when Wu is actually right. Milo ain't recovering from this one

Yeah he will; like they all do all the time. You can have a video of Anita Sarkeesian literally saying she was never a gamer and it won't matter. The same applies to Milo.

Hell, Donald Trump's words have only just begun to catch up with him, presumably anyone if all the polls that are repeated by every news outlet are accurate and aren't just self-fulfilling prophecies.

It doesn't matter to the calibre of people whom become so invested in funding for the personal struggles of others.
