Even if he does those cringeworthy blog videos with Nexpo, Nick Crowley is probably one of the few horror creators on Youtube left that I like along with Wendigoon.

It's decent? A bit over the SPOOPY editing but that's probably because I've been spoiled by Savox, Wendgoon, Haunted Autopsy and DocumentingEvil.
I can excuse Shrouded Hand because his narration is so casual and the topics he talks about are really interesting.
Edit: Fuck me, he's talking about the Charles Peck phone call. I'm pretty sure that was a dead horse already beaten to pudding.

Blameitonjorge made another video on lost media, this time featuring that show Megan Wants a Millionaire I mentioned before. Unfortunately, his sponsor for the video is that scam BetterHelp, but people are calling him out for it in the comments.

The Crowley video was eh but not terrible, I don't know if I would really consider the cross omen guy a "darkest corner of the Internet" but the death note site of husbands was interesting. A pretty standard video about disturbing tiktoks came up from someone else afterwards though and it included the Chinese baby basement.
Did anyone here ever hear any updates to that? I don't speak moon rune and sure as hell can't navigate Chinese social media. There seem to be some conflicting accounts about whether the guy got disappeared or just invited for tea and now the videos never happened. As far as I can tell it was a little too uncomfortable to break viral outside of morbid interest circles and inside those circles everyone just kind of went "Yeah, that's probably real. China's pretty fucked up" and completely dropped it.
Disturbing gets thrown around on horror YouTube as an adjective enough to make it lose meaning but damn. Even if those somehow weren't real they got under my skin good.

Scaretheatre was my very first introduction to online horror years ago and when I came back to caring about it I checked him out again, but to me it seemed like he’s a trapped relic of an older era of horror back when people genuinely thought things like slenderman and candle cove were real.
But to open the N/YTHC thread and see hes trying to get into the rap game? With a stock type beat and a thumbnail that screams with a passion for graphic design?
I just find that quite silly, made me laugh a fair bit

i mean if i was horrortoober22 or whatever one of the highlighted videos on my channel would be: the censors and what do they mean? and it would literally just be linking specific censor sounds to specific words, and i'd make the sounds as un-jarring as possible. like dampened white noise or something. that way you know exactly what i'm saying.

Vtubing is already an incredibly underutilized streaming form. You can make your avatar anything, yet 90% of people choose generic animu waifu/husbando and the rest are fucking furries. You could be a wendigo, you could be a zombie, you could be the mothman, or the Loch Ness Monster, or a grey, or bigfoot, or Cthulhu, or...
Literally the only creative thing to come out of vtubing is that one guy who fucked around with a gun model for a while.

The only Youtube "horror" I can watch anymore is Bizarre Bub's Spooky Comps because even if the videos are obviously fake I can at least get a laugh and every now and then a chill from them.

I just finished watching Nexpo's video from 3 weeks ago on that fake PS1 game "Petscop", and that is some hardcore garbage right there. This is like the most Redditish Shit I have come across in years. I'm almost in awe of how disjointed and downright stupid that fucking story was. They even made it so much worse by basing the entire first half of this "game" on a real life tragedy which was an honest to goodness disturbing ordeal that really happened to a poor kid...if this had been some legit children's PS1 game with references to that event placed within it seemingly for no reason I'd love it for its creep factor alone even if I still hated the art direction.
But no. It was just another dumb, fake, """"analog
horror 
game""" story. Total waste of several hours. Nexpo's video was abridged, narrated, and summarized and even THAT was THREE HOURS and still completely fell to pieces just halfway through. I think all the videos of the actual "gameplay" on the main channel total close to 10 hours! I mean maybe it was more interesting as the first few videos were being released back in 2017 and nobody knew how jank it was yet?
P.S...Is it just me or are you guys getting real annoyed with this "ps1 graphic is spukey" crap? Everywhere I look in the creepy tubes there's some dweeb talking about "analog horror" and "liminal spaces". If I never have to hear either those fucking terms again that would be just dandy.
I have disdain for middling junk that people latch onto en-masse like this it happens way too often and takes those concepts from "just okay" to "awful" in a heartbeat with oversaturation. I am not really a fan of ARGs since they exploded in popularity either but man! What a shitshow!
