I want to bar government employees from voting for their direct employer:
City employees barred from city elections
County employees barred from county elections
State employees barred from state elections
Federal employees barred from federal elections

I also want to ban out of state donations for state and local elections.

Too complicated of a ruleset for government employees to follow. Just make it so that if you get a government check, you don't vote, period. Also has the benefit of keeping government contractors and welfare scum off the voter rolls.

Latest on Kari Lake's fight against the Kangaroo Court system in arizona trying to get them to enforce their own election laws, such as basic chain of custody.

This particular docket is about getting the signature records, which by law are affidavits signed under perjury and exist to serve as evidence if signatures are challenged.
Democrat judge straight up ignoring the law and basic judicial rights of the plaintiff as usual.

I expect this judge, appointed by Clinton acolyte Napolitano, to rule that Lake is not entitled to access to the ballot records and/or the voter registration records despite the supreme court ordering signatures be audited and adjudicated.
This will of course be trumpeted as a "loss" when Lake has to go to trial without access to the records required to actually present a case.

"Our Democracy" is apparently a euphemism for a corrupt judiciary stone-walling attempts to enforce basic election laws.

Remember, when any lib shrieks that there's "no evidence" of fraud, it's because liberal judges don't allow the evidence to be even looked at.

If America were straight-up a corporation as suggested in our cyberpunk dystopias, NO net recipient of tax money would be allowed to vote.
This includes politicians, teachers, DMV employees, police officers, military personnel, and welfare leeches.

It includes just about everyone who isn't a white male.

If Fetterman resigns, you run the risk of the GOP getting the seat, which is in a swing state and them having a good chance to pick up. It's why the Democrats are basically stuck with Fetterman, who is more or less a walking time bomb they are stuck with given his health issues and the fact that he's dropped any sort of mask of niceness and gone full asshole over his lack of fitness to serve as Senator, since he's not giving up his power now that he has it.
Nawh the seat is safely Dem for the foreseeable future. If remembering correctly should Grug resign after a certain point the governor can then select an interim Senator to finish his term. The running rumour is Grug's wife will be parachuted in by this and then keep the seat courtesy of fortification.

Anyone want to see Fetterbrain on the verge of tears? Well, it's your lucky day. I think he's attempting to emotionally manipulate people into being sympathetic towards him, so they'll feel guilty over talking about his diminished faculties, and therefore cease doing so. It'll give the media another excuse to shut down any negative talk directed at him as well.

Shut the fuck up, you goddamned monstrous, hulking infant. You're in politics- y'know, a job where you make wide-ranging, powerful decisions that affect the lives of every American citizen. A job that only 100 individuals at a time can hold. And when the people see the country being maliciously mismanaged so dramatically, who do you think they look at in disgust? As such, you serve as a frequent target for people's ire. Fucking resign if you can't take it.

Some of the best segments on The Opie & Anthony Show were when they mocked easy targets, like retards, downies, and the homeless. There's simply a unique satisfaction that comes with hitting easy targets. John needs to get used to the fact that he's now an easy target, and people are going to respond accordingly, especially considering his job and the effects it has on their lives.
Drunkposting...I don't think they intend it but they're confirming their class's inferiority to the blue collar proles they look down on. I know for sure that I'm more competent in general than Biden or Fetterman, and that they aren't actually capable of even qualifying to do my lowly job. There's just no reason at all to respect their profession or social class if Biden or Fetterman are qualified for the highest positions in their pathetic little world. All 16 year old burger flippers can and should feel smugly superior to members of that class.

Gov. Newsom to debate Florida Gov. DeSantis on Fox News in November

The two governors have been at odds over a number of issues, including guns, abortion, education and immigration.

This should be pretty funny, but it also confirms that I think the playing field is set up certainly for Newsom to be the Dem candidate and DeSantis defaulted GOP because Trump will be disqualified or in jail.

As far as I'm concerned, the FBI is directly responsible for any kids that get hurt by these shit bags. They can all burn in the same circle of hell.

Free labor in exchange for room and board would be used as a civil service option that can be used to gain the franchise. Living conditions would be identical to military service and you'd be enlisted until you quit or reach a specified QC'd work unit quota. This gives a path to citizenship for those who are medically unable or ethically opposed to military service. Blue collar government jobs would be similar. Since you would, by definition, not be a citizen while doing government work, you don't get the vote.

Especially capable candidate could rise to managerial position in the state infrastructure, which would offer better benefits and conditions, but only for a given max amount of years. Graft and corruption would be punishable by summary execution.

Would you like to know more?
You literally just described how the Federal Service in Starship Troopers operates when there isn't a war on. The book mentions that in peacetime something like 70% of all "veterans" spent their time doing civilian labor roles for the government. Even during the war Carl was working in R&D on Pluto, not serving as a psychic SS officer.

But you know, a book where Johnny Rico digs trenches on a colony world for a few years to earn his citizenship probably wouldn't sell all that well.

This would solve the majority of election problems right there. Some asshole from NYC has no business getting involved in election matters in Iowa. Donations should only come from individuals or for-profit enterprise within the division the elections are for, only local business should be allowed to donate to town or county politicians and this should go upward to the state and federal level. Halting the money coming out of California and NYC would stabilize a lot of the political bullshit and perpetual campaigning.

I can't stand that these infinity-billionaires can just throw obscene amounts of money at local politicians in jurisdictions they will NEVER set foot in. Need to make sure we kill the PACs too. Fucking bloomberg and that anytown bullshit needs to stop.

Ah, everything is working as intended then! ;)

This is what happens to polititians that have a real interest in doing something that aren't teflon don. And if this doesn't happen to them (pajeet, meatball) be weary. If this happens in what used to be red Arizona not so long ago, it's possible anywhere.
Ah, I see they have deputized more of their peers, how wholesome! Now lets see this bad boy go down the memory hole and get thrown out once it reaches any sort of court 10 years later.

God, this will be the gayest thing ever... will be good practice for meatball, lets see how he deals with a slimmy snake that knows how to smile and can lie while keeping it. He wanted to wear the big boy pants? Lets see how he deals with it

Yeah, people think of Heinlein Democracy as inherently militaristic but that's because the viewpoint character is soldier. Hell, the book even mention that the state HAS to find you something if you want to complete a service to obtain the vote. If it has to be medical testing or scribbing radiation fallout because you're literally incapable of anything else, so be it.

That's why I call it a Meritocratic Oligarchy. You have to earn the vote through work and self-sacrifice. And it will ALWAYS be within reach, no matter how retarded you are, it'll just really suck getting there.

I will repeat that they cannot disqualify trump and him being in prison doesn't stop him running. The former has no mechanism and the latter has a surprising amount of caselaw.

That being said, yes their ideal fight would be Newsom v DeSantis because both are entirely controlled and Newsom can be easily discarded in the case of a loss.

Addition: I think they are using DeSantis as a stand in for "Generic Republican" at this point. Someone they can control what he says but has enough name recognition. If I am right expect DeSantis to get utterly wrecked in that 'debate'.

They can't disqualify Trump but they can illegally disqualify him from state ballots, de-facto disqualifying him. Yes, it'd be overturned, but who cares? It would take long enough and disrupt things enough that it would be all they need to get him within believable rigging distance. Bonus if they kept fighting for it after getting knocked down. "Well he was incorrectly removed from the ballot but we already printed the ballots so in the NEXT election we'll know not to ban terrorist leaders from our ballots, but THIS TIME, it's sadly too late to re-print them. hehehe." Or people will show up to vote and get ballots with Meatball as the GOP nominee instead of Trump, because "whoops some of those ones we already printed must not have been destroyed, he he he, oh well, if they REALLLY wanted Trump they could have wrote his name in."

There is literally no punishment for this. They'll get smacked down and go "oh darn, the evil nazi scotus supported the orange fascist" and move on with their lives to the next dirty trick.

God save us when they decide they have the political will to just ignore the SCOTUS's decisions. It feels like we're getting ever closer to that.
