Oh and let's not forget, some of these kids are teens. Like when she wrote 'too much food' on that 13-yo girl's pic of a recovery meal, then argued with the critics that the girl did her wrong and thus deserved it.

Let's also remind people that Ash is BPD in action.

She's not delusional in the slightest. She's certainly incredibly mentally ill, but that goes towards her being miserable, manipulative and generally fucked up. One of the things she likes to do is post pictures of typical "recovery" foods (sugary drinks, sweets, pretty food) and write passive aggressive comments about how she won't eat them. Although this might seem sincere, and some people with EDs are genuine with posts like that, hers are meant to patronise other people in recovery and undermine their achievement.

I don't think she's necessarily doing this to kill herself, but she's certainly doing it to keep herself ill. When most anorexics refuse help you're right in that it's because they don't see a problem with themselves, Ashely is very aware of her problem and uses it to keep people in her life and control them.

in the US some hospitals simply cant be bothered anymore to take someone at this point in. i remember this other woman who was similar but actually wanted to recoverbut couldnt find a hospital in the US that would treat her. she was in the "news" last years asking for funding because there was a hospital in spain or portugal that wanted to treat her and she needed money for that.

she actually managed to recover, although it has to be added that the life expectancy of people suffering from severe anorexia for a couple of years is still lower than usual even after recovery (osteoporosis, permanent liver and heart damage and so on).

as for ashley isaacs: i think without even willing to be treated hospitals wont take her in, because they dont want her to sue them for making her gain weight, which she could and probably would (because 'MERICA).

if rachel farrokh didnt even find hospitals being willing to get treated.................. rip ashley.

Yes, she also has trichotillomania. Most of the hair loss on her head was from malnourishment, but her eyebrows and most likely whatever strands of hair were desperately clinging to her bare skull are gone from pulling.
