But holy shit, I thought the worst vices of members of Kiwi Farms was that they touched the cow and got Null mad for having to get the Farms involved into dumb drama, or that they were so severely autistic that they dox themselves like Wolfetone who had a crush on one of his a-logs. But damn, I never knew Kiwis would attempt to rally armies to harass other Kiwis, but I guess that is what happens when a lot of the site's members are autists.
The Farms is actually pretty politically balanced, all told, you've got a lot of people of various political stripes who just want some sanity and reason. We've the occasional political retard, but a lot of the "hard right" reputation of A&N comes from the fever dreams of old fags who lean left, brought some shit reddit-tier argument to a thread, got blown the fuck out and then flounced out of the thread.
What!? I was told by the media that this was some far-right site, and all this political diversity disgusts me as a I joined as a super-based hardcore rightist.
Sarcasm aside, knowing the Farms was more politically balanced than right-wing is something I am quite content about, and also made me despise journalists even more with a passion. However, it was also more of a learning experience for me regarding BP drama that I will share below. I visited A&N before, and I anticipate the replies to the articles to lean right due to obvious lolcow behavior of the subject, like the U.K. or ethnicities, but I never got the whole concept of the replies being nigger-tier because they felt like responses you see in lolcow threads.
Love the expansion of the BP and Oldfag lore
I can expand that lore with my first experience with BP was an enlightening experience because I created a thread that turned the entire board into a dumpster fire that made me realize not just what not to do in BP and how different the beliefs of the BP Kiwis are from the others.
Back when I thought Kiwi Farms was mostly right-wing conservative, I didn't lurk far enough and dumbingly enough, also thought the community of Lolcow Salon / Beauty Parlor (BP) was also conservative.
I soon created
a thread in the Off-Topic board (so I never intended for the topic of interest to be a community watch thread) of the BP about a subreddit called
r/RedPillWomen (RPW) (which is honestly my biggest mistake, and why the whole concept of the thread was criticized). Although it was (now formerly) affiliated with the misogynistic Andrew Tate-ish trashfire that is r/TheRedPill, the community to me at the time (May 2023) fascinated me because it did not feel toxic as other mainstream subreddits regarding female dating advice and I wanted to share it to the board, but with one issue, it was under the label "trad," so people will make connections to more abusive trad movements, which is a result of me misunderstanding the political atmosphere of the board.
I wrote and posted the OP mistakenly as it was a CW thread so that people got the full idea of the thread. Soon, in addition to the criticism above, I also received criticism that I was ignorant of the drama that RPW of red-pilled-men pretending to be female users of the site to manipulate women, I worded my OP as if I was some preacher/Jehovah's Witness for RPW, and that women of RPW are fake larpers, which I found to be reasonable criticisms. Most of the mass debates in that thread Android was involved in was about women "submitting" to men by taking in the feminine attribute of being cared for by a man, and she still participates in the thread to this very day.
I made attempts to clear up some of the RPW beliefs but it seemed that the Kiwis of BP and other Kiwis vehemently opposed them, especially Android, who thought that this feminine attribute will be abused by men to keep women below. Knowing debate is pointless, I pretty much gave up contributing to the thread decided to take it up to Null of the thread's future, and he moved it to Prospering Grounds.
Although I was expected to make a CW thread out of it and I only had to archive my sources and fix the wording, I lost interest in renovating the thread over the summer. I researched more about the subreddit and that there were a lot of abusive relationships that were being praised before r/TRP went up in flames and r/RPW quickly cut them off, though still keeping the head mod. But this was many years ago, I think around 2016-2019, so the milk has already spoiled when I made the OP, and I pretty much left the thread to rot, which I kinda felt bad since there were users like Bloitzhole who supported my effort in making the thread.
Reflecting back a couple months ago, yea, I regret making the thread in the first place, the idea of it and its location in the forum is dumb, and I could have done a better job with the OP. I don't really expect people here in this thread to agree with RPW like I did or thought that posting that thread was a good idea, but in the end, it did tell me that BP is something I should not involve myself in, in regards to politics, advice, and discussion.
BP mainly gave me the realization that Kiwi Farms is more partisan than unitary, and that is not just with the Russia vs Ukraine shit in the Thunderdome, because the debates between Matt Damon and other users vs Android and others made me learn that a portion of the site has grievances against BP. I realized that boards like BP is more dominantly left or liberal, TERF, Karen-ish forum in comparison to other boards, and interactions between them mostly lead to pointless arguments, so it was in general a bad idea to post support of a "trad" community in that board. I also did not know that posting is restricted in BP in regards to lolcows but not the off-topic section, which I had no idea that existed but also thought why is this the case compared to other boards. The partisanship is admirable, because it shows the diversity of the Farms, but at the same time, the toxic slapfights are an interesting showcase of the average user of the site and its specific boards. I have nothing more to say about his matter.
That is my sob story, but if I had to mention one thing about RPW, the Plebbitors of that subreddit right now seem more mentally stable than some of the lolcows of BP showcased in this thread.
