I get all that. The thing is that people hate Chantal that much that they can’t comprehend someone staying connected to her willingly, let alone for this long, unless there’s something to gain, as you’ve mentioned.

I think everyone is focused on the “go to Canada” avenue and people are waiting for some kind of show to drop (visa gets denied, sham marriage gets exposed, Salah is discovered to be a cheater, Chantal gets slammed for finances, I think the list can go on).

Also, I think it’s because we’ve gone as long as we have with Salah. I haven’t paid attention to the timeline, so I’m not sure how long she’s clung onto Salah compared to Bibi, Nader, or any of her times with Peetz.

In the end, their relationship boils down to a scammer scammee archetype. Similar to the 90 day fiance except gunt doesn't demand sex from Salah. Gunt gets 100% of her pleasure from food. So long as Salah can keep his beast fed she will stick around and he will pretend to love her for the camera. This way, she can prove to the haters she has a husband.

I don't understand how people don't realize that to Salah- Chantal is a winning lottery ticket that he just has to feed and play pretend once in a while. Salah is not bailing on Chantal until he's forced or she cannot provide Dinars. It would mean Cameo is near barren which would make no sense seeing how a near-nobody like Chantal makes something there. I assume these are some pyramid scheme-like leaderboards that get counted based on your output tier to motivate more videos.
