What's funny is that Bad Unboxing eventually devolved into that back when he was making them and everyone still loved him. It's why he decided to put it on hold for a while. That was the content. Take the typical self-serving, squeaky clean "fan unboxing" format and make the guy opening the boxes question his life decisions every episode while he nearly throws up from a biohazard as you wonder if one of those boxes will kill him with some mysterious disease. The guy from the Discord saying that he used to "unbox pencils and fruit cups" is leaving out the convenient fact that those were the very early episodes before he changed the format and the show became vastly more popular.
